Hero was so far behind and managed to come back with amazing multitask and warpprism harass.
amazing performance by both Hero and Thorzain, DRG is a boss like expected.

In my opinion (from the semis point of view) the best 2 players came to the finals and made a great finals. DRG was a little bit better so he deserves the win. I feel just a bit sad for Thorzain because he doesn't get anything for his second place (but on the other hand, for an 8 player inv. it might not be necessary). looking forward to the next dreamhack! edit: this is the first time I really saw dApollo and TotalBiscuit together and I must say I really enjoyed it! I haven't been a TB fan last year (I think it was DH winter, but I'm not sure) but yesterday both did a great job!

The games he won were imbalanced spawns on Antiga (which GSL eliminates such is their imbalance), and the Taldarim game which was again favourable spawns and he essentially won the game with a doom drop at the start before proceeding to almost lose because he was so slow to close out the game. The series reminded me of Nestea vs sC in that it was pretty obvious who the better player was all series and the scoreline suggested a closer series than it really was.

GSL removed those spawns because of how you can siege from the 3rd, ThorZaIN never did that

They removed it because the offensive gold is too easy to take and too overpowered for Terran.

It works okay but players like Bomber, MMA and MVP macro better than the Zerg as well (especially Bomber and MVP) but they also play a lot more aggressive and cover their Tanks better with the Marines.

I am so happy for DongRaeGu and also I am sooo impressed by Thorzain. He is the best foreigner by far and propably the only one in the top 50 players overall. So awesome, too bad he does not like Korea. Best TvP by far maybe I'd put SeleCT's TvP over Thorzain, but Thorzain has the best overall mechanics with Terran that I've seen from a foreigner. Your joking right? Thorzain does not have good mechanics. His macro is fine, but is marine/tank control is so bad, which is kinda why he slow pushes, because he doesn't have the apm to do a qiucker attack (every game he tried to do a tank marine push he failed cus he made so many wrong things, like not having spotters, and bad marine splitting). Major has much better mechanics than Thorzain.
