Thorzain needs some TvZ lessons from Select.

You gotta have your marines grouped, and just go in a large clump, if you see banelings you need to do those quick splits. Slow pushes work in TvP but in TvZ vs a large muta cloud either go more aggresive or make a couple thors or this will be a quick 3-1 series.

Thorzains has to really pull something if he wants to win this series. DRG almost came back from such a huge disadvantage but DRG isn't going to let that happen easily 2 more times.

Yea, the only reason Thorzain really had a chance is because he killed like 20 drones so early. When you almost lose a game after such an advantage you really need to step it up : /

He is stepping it up. You have to consider their current skill level.

(also killing 20 drones can be considered a feat in itself)

No, Thorzain could've ended it when he was 50 food ahead. He could've a-moved into DRG's base and won it.

But he didn't. He had questionnable decision making, which is part of the game, and part of the reasons for my statement.

Meh, Thorzain has been practicing with SlayerS; he's also really good. As much as I would like the gap to be getting smaller, I really don't see one European (who has been practicing with a Korean pro-team) winning one game as proof of the gap diminishing.

Look at MLG

Ya that works really well vs mutas since you can just lift your buildings in case of base trade, and you never have to worry about banelings on creep, burrow, or the possibility of infestors which insta lose you the game.

Definitely should've a-moved.

he has low apm, so he premature splits marines while he macros, so he doesn't lose all his marines to some banelings

Why did TB say upgrades don't really matter much in game 2? Clearly thorzain's 3/3 marines outclass DRG's 1/0 mutas, even with DRG's amazing muta harass.

Lol, people will take anything they can get to prove that foreigners are as good as Koreans. Let's just wait a couple months for some GSL results and we'll see if this is true. Thorzain definitely has code S potential, though, I can't deny that.

People, stop criticizing Thorzain for not ending that faster. We know who DRG and he beat him in a damn macro game.

Don't remember last time a foreigner looked so strong vs the top of the top (not only vs koreans but vs the best koreans).
