Oh shit lucky draws. Alicia vs Select (for us, the viewers) as Select's TvP is sicko and it should be a really entertaining set of games, and Maka vs Sjow (for Sjow) because Sjow's TvT is pretty damn amazing and Maka's is pretty mediocre. I am a bit worried, because Maka has a pretty good early game, and I've seen Sjow lose some pretty stupid TvTs (losing all of his SCVs from an uncloaked banshee sitting motionless behind his mineral line while microing his own banshee to kill a few marines against MMA in particular) but Sjow should have no problem and I think he can 2-0 Maka.

It is still so mindblowing to me that people think Sjow can play at a Code A, GSL level. He is going to get slaughtered in his best match up against a slightly better than decent Korean Terran.

Yes, the person who took a game off of MMA and almost a series from Bomber, slaughtered by Maka. :|

He's gotten a bit of hype for his TvT after Bomber made a comment to Milkis during Raleigh about how Sjow's TvT is Code S level. Something to note, of course, is that Bomber went bio (IIRC) against Sjow in their series, not mech.

Actually, I think he's advanced far enough to give the Code A's a good run for their money.

However, since this will be his first time in the GSL booth, he's probably going to get slaughtered. Many people forget how nerve wracking doing something like this for the first time can be.

Yet he's been very competitive with Code S Terrans, Bomber and MMA.

TvT i probably the most forgiving match up for low APM player with so-so mechanics, it is more about decision making and Sjow seems to have that in bounds. Besides, Maka is like the bottom of the barrel of Korean Terrans, if he can take games of Bomber then Maka should be a push over

It's because viOlet can't really consistently play any match-up well except for ZvZ. Also because he no longer has a team, apparently has health problems to contend with, and has given thought to retiring.

Only 8/32 in code A are terran. But in code S we have 20/32.

How did that happen?
I feel fear...for the last time

Hero's PvZ pushed DRG to 7games at MLG, even more impressive was that he lost 0-2 to him and then went 3-2 in the extended series.

That and hopefully the patch hits before his game and Voilets mass infestor style will be rendered ineffective against someone who has a strong PvZ as Hero

I actually burst out laughing when you though Byun would lose to Oz. Chances are Byun will completely truck him. Also Pce Fruitdealer he should have been out by season 3 of the Open tournaments.

Hero is one of the few protoss that actually look like they cope rather well with zerg, violet is quite an inconsistent player and seems to fall apart at times in the late game, so i don't think it's people being biased towards a liquid player, seems a genuinely good matchup for him, even though violet can be pretty tough on his day.
