Top 3 favorites to take this down will be MC or SC winning it with. Sage and Byun coming from the lower bracket i think.

Hopefully, we will see the foreigners advance ! yup, gotta agree with this, im gonna be watching code a way more since there isnt 20 terrans and we can finally see other matchups, im so tired of tvx.

Hense theres more P and Z in Code A than up and coming Terrans. Top 3 favorites to take this down will be MC or SC winning it with. Sage and Byun coming from the lower bracket i think. Uhh, I think what you're seeing is all the zerg and toss from code S dropping down to code A while the terrans from code A went up to code S.

- Sick match to kick off Code A, I'm leaning towards Revival given sC's time out after injury and Revival's been generally on an upswing lately...well, bar ZvZ -__- (P)Alicia vs (T)SeleCT - Well this just gets better and better! Amazing match to follow up. Can Alicia break the shackles of his slump, will SeleCT just 1/1/1 him, or will we get a couple of spectacultar TvP's? (P)MC vs (Z)Monster - Got to lean towards MC, but I've not really got any idea of what Monster is capable of in ZvP outside of the fact he took down Squirtle in the last qualifiers. (Z)Kyrix vs (T)GuMiho - Might well be the end of the road for Kyrix, Gumiho is a great player. Only worry I have is Gumi doing some funky strategy and walking into trouble, seen him do pure bio still sometimes and that worries me. (Z)YuGiOh vs (P)lOvShinyStar - Err...I don't really know what to say on this one. I heard ShinyStar is really good but can't get on a team because his parents don't want him to? Still going with yugiOh though. (Z)viOlet vs (T)Liquid`HerO - Was pleasantly surprised with viOlet's ZvP in the up & down matches, but I still think he'll lose here. In some ways Hero and JYP both PvZ in similar styles and I think viOlet will get picked apart again. (Z)Sniper vs (Z)Curious - Curious has sick ZvZ, if he doesn't win here I'm just going to cry (fanboy) (T)Maka vs (T)SjoW - Wowow, Sjow couldn't have asked for better imo. Not that Maka is bad, but Sjow has a great TvT and Maka's probably not the strongest opponent he could have drawn. (Z)FruitDealer vs (P)SaSe - Amazing chance for Sase here, I really expect him to win this. FD is washed up and Sase is on the rise. (P)JYP vs (Z)JookTo - This will be another of the great first round matches, book it. Hoping for JYP but Jookto has some good ZvP. (T)Byun vs (P)Twilight - Byun should win this without too much trouble, still not sold on Oz. (P)Tassadar vs (Z)SUPERSTAR - Oh man, Superstar is actually awesome at Zerg despite the cape and and all caps. Tassadar has probably gone from being happy to see Terrans to incredibly thankful that he's finally avoiding them. Not sure who I favour here. (P)TesteR vs (T)Dream - Dream! was super impressed he instantly requalified for Code A after falling out, I think he has what it takes to get rid of the Trickster problem once and for all =p (Z)Lucky vs (P)NaNiwa - Very interesting match, Lucky seems to be pretty good in general, while it's going to be time to answer the question of whether or not Nani has evolved his play enough to compete now (though I guess Dreamhack might answer that too) (Z)Check vs (P)Weekend - Poor poor Check, so close to Code S and now hovering dangerously over the abyss of Code B. Weekend only dropped a game in qualification to our beloved Jinro, but I think Check is going to handle him just fine. (T)IMYoda vs (P)Sage - Dear Yoda, if you 1/1/1 Sage I will personally find you and break your keyboard ¬_¬ Had the pleasure of watching Sage play Jinro in 20+ games the other day on Jinro's stream, it was a pretty masterful display of Protoss play. If he doesn't get cheesed out I expect him to win.

![]() What excites me the most though is the amount of new blood combined with the amount of good players falling down from Code S, this could be one of the best seasons in Code A yet!

I think it's going to be tougher for Naniwa, his opponent is a slightly better zerg, and pvz is in a weird state at the moment. Sjow vs maka: sjow has a chance, but sjow will lack preparation in korea. Overall I think it's a good draw for the foreigners, drawing zergs for protosses is probably better than terrans, and sjow has good TvT. The only better thing would have been to have some PvP I think.
