Rather than continuing to make Drones once the third goes up, he simply transfers a large amount from his main and natural and goes straight into combat unit production. That quick saturation causes his economy to EXPLODE. | ||

Usually he'd have a 3rd base so his income would be through the roof, and he'd be floating 10 thousand minerals when his tech kicks in and he'll pop out 24 infestors or 73 roaches or something insane. on this map though, you don't drone straight to 75 until the 3rd base is up. | ||

Yea that is quite surprising actually. Usually he made a 3rd or 4th hatch next to the rocks anyway ( see Blizz EU invitational). So he goes like 5 hatches in 9 minutes. Wonder why he didn't do it this time. | ||

People will go if there's something decent for them to play for. It's just not worth it anytime after the first couple of rounds of the season for EU players to head over if they aren't in pool play (with this seasons point scheme). | ||

Yeah i agree but you never know their plans. Maybe the Eastern Europeans are not confident they can get visa. While Nerchio has stated he doesn't want to play away from home no? Stephano was supposed to go to Korea as well (unless it was just a rumor). haven't heard that he is going to next MLG but that will be AWESOME if he does. | ||

Oversaturating your minerals so you can quickly transfer to your expo later makes sense for Terran and Protoss but not as much for Zerg, since he can just make 20 drones in one round instead after he gets his 3rd up anyway. | ||
