They start at 10/11 am on Saturdays though. On weekdays, people go to work/school that's why usually tournaments start a bit later in the day. Just like MLG doesnt start in the morning on Fridays but around 6 pm local.

Still weird that it's so late for EU.

I thought of that but people often work 9 to 5 jobs or even 8 to 4 so the west coast can't watch it anyway...

Dignitas.Sjow <> Liquid`Jinro Sjow 2-0 Jinro's in a bit of a slump, and Sjow did great at Raleigh.
Liquid`Ret <> WhiteRa Ret 2-0 , his PvZ is pretty insane imo.
Mouz.Thorzain <> Haypro Thorzain 2-0, both haypro and thorzain's weakest matchups are TvZ, but Thorzain has faced harder opponents and has a better winrate.

So sad there's no losers bracket

Don't think anyone should be "hating" on MLG. It's an unfortunate inconvenience for EU fans wanting to see EU players in action, but I'm sure they have plenty of good reasons for doing things at a standardised time that works out best for viewers in NA. It's not like the games are live so the players themselves aren't being required to be up late or some shit like that.

Umm what big NA tournaments start at 10/11 am during the week? Oh thats right, none! NASL starts at 6pm PST, 9 PM EST, IPL starts at 5/8, MLG fridays start 5pm local to the event. The only time events start at 10/11 am is on the weekends.
