HuK, Select, and Nestea were all given invites but respectfully declined due to travel and having to play cross-realm.

Some invites questionable? Lol I'd say theres a lot of pretty questionable invites that are fishing for views more than the best of the best.

It's too bad (although at least reasonable) to see that there is no Non-Korea Asia signup, just so we could see players such as Sen, or Chinese/SEA players be given a chance as well. That said the costs to run all this, I don't blame MLG for keeping it to just the 3 groups, but I can definitely criticize the hell out of some of the picks.

MLG FIGHTING!

Some really good matches and interesting matches.

JP you should try and get the OP updated to fix the format errors

I don't understand, there are 3 regions, each are only playing among themselves aren't they? What cross-realm? Are you making the Koreans play against each other on NA server?

Yeah, unfortunate lack of Korean protoss, and putting the only one up against Losira is a kick in the balls. MC has seemed to stop going to foreign events lately, guess he's wanting to spend more time training.

Europe seems pretty Swede-heavy, Destiny and Incontrol aren't really top 8 NA and the Korean lineup has too many Terrans.

Aside from these nitpicks - great lineup, great initiative, I'm already looking forward to the casting by JP and Artosis.

I didn't see any errors, but it would be nice if you could add EU stream times.

Here are my predictions for the current brackets shown.

EG.IdrA <> Destiny
While i'd like to see Destiny take it watch Idra continue to fade away from the player he once was, I do believe Idra is clearly the superior player here.
RGNKiwikaki <> Major Major is so good haha. He hasn't quite won anything really big yet but Kiwikaki hasn't held up to his reputation lately so i have to go with Major.
RGNSlush <> Liquid`Tyler Slush has always placed well at every MLG. Tyler has been pretty washed up for a long time now when it comes to the very top of competition. I wish Tyler would just choose to practice more and get super gosu like he was in bw. I really don't see Tyler winning a game here.
EG.iNcontroL <> Liquid`Sheth
Incontrol has not performed well for a long time now. He made a small splash a long time ago and hasn't posted results since. Look at his TLPD record. He only has a 37% percent winning ratio. Most of those wins coming from the earlier days when players weren't as talent. Sheth is the zerg beast outside of korea. In korea he performed pretty good as well. His TLPD is 60% win ratio!!!!
This is a no brainer for me.

Dignitas.Naniwa <> SaSe
O naniwa. I miss the days when i got the sense that you really had something to prove to the world. I feel like that drive has started to fade. You have a few stellar accomplishments within the last year. I want to see that fire in your eyes again and watch you bash some nerds again. Aside from the Nani-love, Sase is a really skilled Darkhorse protoss in my eyes. SaSe will sweep Naniwa in convincing fashion. Will it look like Naniwa is slumping after this loss? Or will people pay more attention to SaSe's victory?
Dignitas.Sjow <> Liquid`Jinro
This was a pretty tough one to be honest. Jinro and sjow are 2 of my favorite foreign terrans. Jinro has displayed some really good results but not lately ;(. Sjow has many solid performances in the past and as of lately. Based on the current form i think sjow will take it. But will we see Jinro surprise us all and come out of his shell once again.
Liquid`Ret <> WhiteRa
Again this is another tough one. Ret has been pretty HoT lately. But......Its White-Ra. He is always surprising me with new builds and the classic....dare i say it..special tactics. I think Ret will be pretty surprised with this encounter.
Mouz.Thorzain <> Haypro

IMMVP <> EG.Puma
I'll keep this short and sweet. There's a reason why MVP has as many GSL titles as he does. Its because he is the best terran in korea. MVP will put the Puma to sleep with finesse!
IMLosira <> Liquid`Hero
Losira is arguably Top 5 zerg in korea. He has more placings/results than Hero. EzPz as Day[9] would say.
MMA <> SlayerS`Boxer
Come on, Its the Emperor were talking about. MMA took him out at an MLG. Boxer has got to be Blood thirsty for revenge.
Bomber <> CoCa
BOMBER!!! He is the latest talk-of-the-town terran in Korea. He has some pretty solid credentials in tournament placings. Coca is a dark-horse in my eyes when it comes to Korean zergs. We know he is good, but i'm not so sure we will see anything stellar from him for this match...

ya i dont understand this cross realm reasoning. it would be really weird if they all had to play on NA, would have liked to see nestea.

We threw the tournament info up on LP. Not much to see yet, except perhaps how a double-elimination 8-player tournament works.
