Well, that's what happens when you go the same FE build every game.

No enthusiasm, very monotone = boring to watch. C'mon jp, you can do better! Enjoying the series so far, I think MVP will take this.

Has nothing to do with Extended Series in this case. It is so that as MVP came from loser bracket MMA is 1-0 in sets(now 1-1) they now play an extended series for the last set.

I think the goal is to develop interesting storylines for the first day(s) of providence in the actual MLG providence tournament. Offer a few guys an extra incentive to show up, I mean Nestea/MVP in the open bracket is obviously big for MLG. Due to providence not having pool play, a lot of rounds have to be played before the 'seeded' big players are shown. If you only have medium-level foreigner vs. medium level foreigner in the early rounds I think it gets tedious really fast. This ensures at least a couple 'favourites' that people will be wanting to see. I know I'm a lot more hyped for MLG knowing we're getting MVP/Nestea in the open bracket at least. Altho having an MLG champion not being seeded is kind of debatable ;p.

Hope you find it useful too.Ha, I'll watch that, I always liked those fast siege push, they seem very powerful in TvT, thanks for the info.

I do agree that in a normal double elimination 2x Bo3 is what MVP has to win. It works just like a normal double elim. But instead of 2 Bo3, MVP has to win a Bo7. Now, since it's in an extended series, MMA has to win 4 games total, not 2 anymore, because he lost the first two.

I had no idea this was the way it is. Agree with everyone who says it's pretty messed up, but whatever. If you looked at this from a straight up bo7 series MMA would still have had an advantage going into it.

They never played each other in the winners bracket so there's no series for it to be extended from ><
