If you're an mkp fan, then you should see that this is only going to help him. MC lost like this when he was greedy, and it helped him alot, he now plays alot safer, and doesn't lose games in that silly way. MKP will learn this and it will help him.

Err... people saying it was a "good" build by tester, I would strongly advise against trying this on the ladder. The only reason it worked was because MKP was greedy and did not get a bunker. A 4 min bunker would shut this down very very hard.

That said, if a terran is opening 1-1-1 without a bunker, definitely just throw up a few gates and go kill them.

that's why you build a bunker mkp. even a regular zealot stalker poke can kill you. cant hold that with only 3 marines. reactors take a lonng time to build and you want the tanks asap.

It doesn't matter if Trickster went for a proxy gate, if you 1-1-1 you need a bunker.

I feel like MarineKing needs a better Terran coach. His builds/strategies are always...well, that, what we just saw. If he was on Slayers, I think he'd be doing a lot better.

yeah, cool build, but all you need is a bunker, and 1/1/1 would still be an issue, even worse if they find your proxied gateway/pylon. Cool none the less, i wonder if MKP was trying to mask the 1/1/1 with a 3rd supply depot at the front, as seeing the 3 depot would probably mean a marauder is coming out along with the 2nd rax.

Can't remember which toss player it was, but at last MLG sjow didn't build a bunker when 111-ing either (iirc). Wtf is this, isn't 111 "safe" enough by itself? Why play it so stupidly greedy?

Bunker. Even a bunker in his mineral line / next to his CC would have helped. A lift-off from his fac, landing further back in his base + adding tech lab + adding a tank could've helped. Barracks lift-off to the back of his base, techlab + marauder could have helped. Hellion / rine against stalkers early game = harddd

Well, i think that his plan was not to go for a 4gate but to go for a enxus after the initial harass. But, as MKP played very sloppy (he should ahve gotten the bunker up and go for tancs, helion did almost nothing) he just turned it into an all in. Like the strat, like the decision making.

MKP is playing incredibly greedy lately.

CC first, no bunker, etc...

You won't get away with it all of the time, and if you do it constantly you never will.
