ESL is proud to present our €1500 Best of Benelux StarCraft II Tournament! This StarCraft II tournament will not just be on ESL Benelux, but will give you the chance to qualify for the live event on stage at Firstlook!
When and Where
1st and 2nd of October Utrecht, The Netherlands, will be the center of Dutch E-sports.
Prize Pool
1st Place -- 1000€
2nd Place -- 300€
3rd Place -- 200€
How to enter?
During the month of September we will be hosting 7 qualifier cups, which are open for all residents of the Benelux. During these qualifier cups you can earn yourself points which will determine the final ranking and with that, will determine wheter you qualify for the finals at Firstlook!
The top 3 players according to the final ranking after the qualifier cups are directly qualified to the grand finals on Sunday the 2nd of October at Firstlook in Utrecht, The Netherlands.
Did you not quite make it into the top 3? Don't worry you have one last chance to redeem yourself. Those ranked 4-7th will qualify themselves for the last chance qualifier at Saturday the 1st of October, which will also be played at Firstlook! The winner of the last chance qualifier will join the other 3 players on Sunday.

Cool to see a tourney at a dutch event, and it's even in the city I live in. Tempted to go check out the finals, although I'm not interested at all in the event itself (I went to this like 4/5 years ago; it was focused on the cool xbox kids playing generic-fps-#1084141).

Because it is very hard to qualify for this cup because of the level of play, but they still really want to motivate everyone living in the Benelux the take part in this event they now have additional prizes without requiring you to put up some amazing performance. :

1 month of membership, if you guess the winner of qualifier #4. You have to respond in THIS [which means the post you find at the url above and below!] post, before the fourth qualifier starts. When the cup is over the winner will be announced. If there is more then one lucky guy, the admin team will random one of you guys!
When a stream will have more then 1500 viewers, they can give away a premium key, providing one month of premium ESL. When they reach 3000 viewers, they can give another one. So don't forget to tune in! You can view their stream below this post.
Also 1 month of membership if there are more then 2000 viewers who checked out this post. This premium key will be given away at qualifier #5.
Guess who will be the top 3 at the end of Best of Benelux, in correct order. . The winner will be announced after the 7th qualifier cup. You can post your top 3 in the forum link above. If there is more then one winner, the admin team will random one player. This player recieves one month of premium !
Our 5th price will be one provided from GianT. All players who wrote a comment on this newspost will be able to win a one hour coaching. GianT will contact one lucky player to practise the art of terran.

Hey ppl,
I want to come to Firstlook this Sunday to come and watch the Best if Benelux, but i cannot find where and when exactly this is. On the Firstlook website there is nothing about this tournament at all, and neither on the top view map, only about the game event itself and the stands of the gamedevelopers etc.
What time do these tournament finals start and where in Firstlook do we go to?

Grubby is in Korea, so he couldn't participate. I am not sure who the belgian 'underdogs' are, since orly and I pwned all the dutch at wcg qualifier and the 7 Best of Benelux qualifiers.

too bad it's best of benelux without Grubby & Ret, still a pretty decent line up, and as far as i could see a smoothly run tournament so far.

Hearing the cast in Dutch is kind of weird... you can tell that the casters are having some trouble adjusting. It feels fun to hear it in one's own language though
