Boxer already got himself an invite to Orlando after IPL invited him. . Wait I'm confused, what does MMA qualifying for ipl 3 have to do with him going to mlg orlando? Has he said he's going to orlando as well because I haven't heard that yet?

Orlando is the weekend after, would seem somewhat logical that the SlayerS contingent may consider stopping over in NA for the week and heading to MLG afterwards (GSL schedule permitting)? That said I think MMA is guaranteed a place for providence so maybe he won't bother.

It's already going to be really tight for him to get to ipl if he makes it to round of 16. Code S ro16 Oct 4/5. I'm sure if code s players make round of 16, gom will try to let them play oct 4th, and then they would have to fly out like right after their games to make it in time to get to atlantic city oct 6th. Then if they make it to ro8, they will have to return to korea because those games are played oct 11/12 and mlg is oct 14-16.

I don't think any non-Korean besides the GSL participants has taken down that many Koreans in a single tournament before. 3 BoX wins against Koreans is more than what many have in their entire career.

hmm, is it just me, or does the matches on the side when you click on the qualifers for now give away the fact that stephano beats marineking, as it says him vs marineking, then him in the quater finals

For the Qualifer #2 (the one you are seeing right now) Stephano had a higher lag as he was in Tunisia. Plus it's not an excuse, if you are a professional, you should train yourself to play with lag, if you don't then you deserve to lose.

Lag isn't linear all the time, and random lag spikes can effect crucial moments of the matchup or mess up a players flow and thinking. Yeah you can get use to the latency, but you cannot stop or predict random lag spikes so they don't mess you up.

It's not an excuse to lose, but it is an excuse when comparing skill levels. You know NesTea is like 3-6 in online tourneys and has refused to play them anymore because it ruins his name?
