Losira 3-1.
I think this will come to the last match, so whoever wins in MC v Jjakji moves on. I'm a big fan of MC but I feel like his arrogance (not to be mistaken, I love MC's cocky and arrogant "show" behavior) has gotten the best of him lately.

Arguments about his "arrogance" and sloppiness are just excuses. He's easily the strongest player in the group. Losira should make it through as well. Hell I'll take check and kyrix as troll victories/ more diversity. God help us if Jjk gets in though. It'll be keen 2.0

LosirA's on a total roll, he knows how to get to 70 drones / 3 base against everything. jjakji has his match against MC in 10th spot -> it probably won't be played. He can focus on crushing the Zergs and combined with his already genius TvZ I don't see him dropping a set to anyone other than LosirA, but Terminus is pretty good for TvZ, so maybe not even there. MC just heavily crumbles under pressure, the maps aren't very Protoss friendly. He's gonna go to Code A and do some soulsearching. How did he win more then one championship if he crumbles under pressure dude?

It'll be keen 2.0 Or, more likely, MC is just struggling right now as a competitor, combined with Protoss' struggles in general. Doesn't mean the tournament has no value considering there are a few Protoss players doing well in Code S. Jjakji is very good, it's really gonna come down to Jjakji/MC/Losira for two spots (Sorry Check/Kyrix).

He didn't beat Nestea in the finals last GSL but his ZvZ still is one of the best out there, his ZvZ is as good as Nestea's but he plays in a different style. Losira 3-1. That's not "playing a different style," that's being totally dominated by a ZvZ god.

If the clearly best Protoss won't be playing and especially when he is not even playing that poorly, the tournament loses a great deal of value. Both because of the attraction of that specific player is gone and in StarCraft the composition of the competition is a big factor in light of viewability. I do not accept your premise that MC is merely "struggling."

I'm pretty sure they even said they practiced with each other before the match. That's probably why they changed the format, so people would actually try harder to win it.
