Predicting Strelok and the winner of Dimaga/Socke in the finals.
I must disagree with you.
These are great matchups, and players like Socke, Dimaga, and White-Ra are all proven top level EU players. If you want to watch 6 Korean terrans battling for the top 6 places there are many other tournaments you can tune into.
TB invited skilled players that give back to the community and that will also create interest and attract a large audience. I am sorry that this does not peak your interest...

winner of Socke-Dimaga to take it all, unless Socke meets White-Ra in the finals
|
TB is so sick, I can honestly not tell who is going to win, I do hope White-Ra takes this though.
Grampa toss Hwaiting!!~~

I think that invites are ok, i just dont like fixed brackets like this, imho it should always be random or based on some seedings. Dreamhack valencia is also an invitational tournament but i think they are gonna make random brackets.

My predictions:
Dimaga > Socke TLO > Destiny WhiteRa > Strelok dde > Tyler
Dimaga > TLO ( </3 ) WhiteRa > dde
Dimaga > WhiteRa
Though if TLO and dde won, we would have TvT finals. That'd be great!

Dimaga < Socke TLO < Destiny WhiteRa < Strelok dde < Tyler
Socke > Destiny Strelok > Tyler
Strelok > Socke
Strelok has just been on a tear recently, winning qualification spots to both of the up-coming IEMs. It's a shame WhiteRa is matched up against him in the first round cause I think he would beat everyone else in this tourney.

DDE is what i meant... don't know why i wrot sixjax... I'm also not sure about TLO / Destiny... reffering to his stream TvZ isn't quite the best matchup of TLO atm.

This bracket was really difficult to put together, a question of trying to balance entertainment value with fairness and the unpredictability of either untested or "comeback" players, as well as having to take into account different timezones for the live play. I've lost sleep over it, I'll admit, whatever we did in this tournament "favourites" would have gotten knocked out, you've got 5 extremely dominant players and 3 who are more than capable but are either untested in this environment or coming back from slumps/injuries. Who do you match up to who in that situation? You can't do it randomly due to having to work around WCG Ukraine and timezones, plus attempt to avoid mirrors in the RO8. I don't even know if there was a right answer for the brackets honestly, that wouldn't at least upset someone in one way or another but I'm hoping it'll give an entertaining tournament for everyone and the players will enjoy participating in it.
Long story short, organisation is hard and stressful sometimes and makes me worry a lot.

You're doing amazing don't worry bout that.

Long story short, organisation is hard and stressful sometimes and makes me worry a lot. this way the brackets look like the 4 worst players and the 4 best players meet in round 1 no offense : /

To be fair, this is exactly the same as SCI2 as well. Nerchio met Socke, MorroW met SeleCT, nobody complained then. I do not think the skillgap is as massive as some people are making it out to be, it's more of a case of the 3 people considered lower-tier in this tournament (which I don't think is necessarily fair at all) are also extremely high profile.

The virtual stadium idea is so clever, who came up with that?

I just thought it would be neat and a better way to spend the breaks than staring at the SHOUTcraft loop.

Sweet! I really can't wait to watch this after the GSL finals! I really hope that everyone in this tourney does really well, even if they don't win, that they show great games and skill!
|
Whitera and Dimaga are on different sides of the bracket.
I'm happy :D.
Looking at the brackets, I feel like I could guess your reasoning behind a lot of the choices you made. I don't mind them at all. Looking forward to this!

I knew white-ra would be invited! What a legend
|
Not anything wrong with the skill level, but only Canada, US, germany and Ukraine represented. Next shoutcraft I hope to see a wider range of nationalities.

Nice Tip jars, like the idea to be able support the player you like.

Why thank you! It took me a good while to set up! I hope people make use of them. I expect the site to crash tomorrow as per usual so these tip jars have their own pages at chipin so if our site goes down, we can divert people to the source page to donate.
