With the possible exception of Softball, every player in division 3 is top quality and anyone could win that division.

QXC playing good lately.
Dimaga... nuff said.
HasuObs playing pretty good lately. Solid top performer just doesn't get over the hump.
Tyler potentially strong.
Puma dominating.
TLO has his moments.
TTI / Moman... meh.

Relooking over them. I think just about every group is pretty stacked besides 4. 1 is on a different level though.

The wrong HerO Link has nothing to do with the TLPD'ize problem, as it is simply the wrong TLPD!

The used TLPD is from the Broodwar Player Jo Il Jang "hero", who is not at all identical with the Player Song Hyeon Duk "HerO"!
The right TLPD for Song Hyeon Duk would be the following one:
(P)HerO

Is Softball that great? No disrespect to him, but I get the feeling that most people think he's great because they've seen Softball replays which were actually Sen playing on Softball's account. Softball is actually a Terran.

Yea but that's because he automatically tlpd-ized the post. Which takes the BW account first (hero in BW was jo il jang).

For example, I'm going to type (Z)hero and tlpdize this post.

EDIT: that's why it comes up as the wrong hero.

All I've got to say is that Division 3 is sick. Good games are to be expected.

He's not absolute top tier, but he should be able to stand up against midtier NA/EU players.

I am going for Gummie bear Sen on this one !
I believe he now finished university and is a full pro, with more hours of practice he's going past beast mode !

Somewhere i hope for Ret aswell, but it's hard to root for him because his inconsistency and no way knowing if he's practicing at all or not.

Also looking out for the HerO games, the guy is a baller for sure, and i love his play. I knew he was good from his stream but at MLG i have not seen a protoss with that control in a long time.

Looking back through the player list a second time, there really are a lot of good players missing.

This is why I really don't like the pure invitational format, too many good players get left out without getting an even chance to compete.

Even players like Grubby have improved drastically from the first season and yet despite him having a record no more abysmal than QXC, he gets left out. The same goes for a large number of players like Slush, Drewbie, KawaiiRice, GoOdy and Cloud who get left out where players like Tyler and Haypro reenter.

Not to mention the massive number of players who weren't in the first season but are comparable to players in the league and performed fairly well in the qualifiers(which are basically discounted since they were almost entirely topped by players who aren't competing).

Oh well, such is the nature of a pure invitational tournament...

Sorry Xeris, I remember your conversation with Desrow in the other thread regarding the picks for the second season. They aren't really bad, but it's just the nature of going by such a large tournament for invite only and the NASL is certainly not the first to do it but players always get left out with this system which is unfair.

You're really overselling Tyler and TLO. Puma is obviously amazing, and Dimaga is very good. Hasu is pretty good but not exactly dominant recently, and QXC is pretty good. Personally I think both Groups 4 and 5 are pretty weak.

Group 3 has to be the strongest though. Six legitimate contenders for Top 2 in Group (Hwangsin, Idra, Sjow, Kiwikaki, Morrow, Socke), while Jinro and Softball could still be competitive in such a division. There's no weak spots at all.

I have to agree with this - they should've really scheduled all team matches at start to prevent match fixing in the last few weeks to help a team member make the playoffs or whatever.
