Nestea MVP is really hard for me to predict. It seems like ZvT would be Nestea's weakest matchup, but that may be because he's invincible vs protoss and zerg, while MVP has very solid TvZ. I really cannot wait to see this, and I think these lowkey players named like Huk and Nada (I might be wrong on the names) are playing? Wonder if they'll be any good, should be interesting.
Wait... Puzzle/Ryung AND Julyzerg as well? Fuck you sleep, I have starcraft to watch.

ZvT is nestea's one matchup where he looks mortal (and he's still absurdly good)... I'll be rooting for professor T but i expect mvp to take it.

Lee Yoon Yeol! Lee Yoon Yeol!
I'm actually kinda happy I won't have to listen to Tasteless use the phrase "renaissance nerd". Sorry Nick, but that one's no good -- come up with something better.
Can't wait for this to start.

I just rewatched the Clash of MVP vs Nestea in the GSL January Season and realized what joke maps they played on.
First was XelNaga, which nowadays is downvoted by each and every Zerg, at that time the downvote had to be saved for even worse maps. Nestea even won than game lol.
2nd map was close position on the backrock version of Shakuras (-> LOL)
3rd map was on Blistering Sands and MVP won with a 2 rax bunker rush, this was probably the most fair map in the series.
Because the last map was freaking Jungle Basin, cannot believe what kind of awful maps were used just a few months ago.
MVP won that series 3-1, but even the most die hard terran fan has to admit that this series couldn't determine the better player.
Today we will finally see the 2 best players in the world duke it out on relatively good maps (sadly it's not a bo5 or even bo7).

These round of matches better not end up like last night, where the majority of all LB's go to the underdog.

Actually even if they were played on good maps the results still wouldn't matter because the games were so long ago.

XNC is an ok map for ZvT, the rush distance is fairly long and there's plenty of counter attack paths.
JB is ofcourse a BS map, but NesTea had a fighting chance until he critically blundered and flew a ton of mutas over Mvp's marine ball.
Blistering is - according to IdrA - a Zerg favored map in ZvT, Shakuras 1.1 is a coinflip of either awesome Zerg map or awesome Terran map.
The maps favored Mvp, but he still was the better player in that series, NesTea often made unforced errors (such as the Muta mistake or making 4 spores against 1 banshee on Shakuras) and didn't have an answer to Mvp.
I expect Mvp to take it 2-0, mainly because he doesn't want to have to play on Tal'Darim. NesTea looked like a middle-rate Zerg in his last ZvT games against MMA, Ensnare, Happy and TOP, either losing or winning barely against opponents he should be considered a clear favorite against.

Yeah and didn't MVP win the Blistering Sands map by bunkering his ramp? which you can't do now with the neutral supply depos.

Just no....
I'll agree on Xel'naga but that's it.
I strongly doubt idra called Blistering favored for zerg. I distinctly remember him bitching about it. Hell, he lost that map narrowly to MVP himself in gsl3 because of the advantageous siege positions that terrans have over the gold on that map. Furthermore, this is one of the maps that was highly prone to the double bunker wall off. The reason we have a supply depot at the ramp now in the gsl and the reason nestea lost this one.
The fact that he even had a fighting chance against MVP on basin should be a testament to his skill. I doubt the mutas would have saved him anyway.
Yea maybe shakuras 1.1 was a coin flip, and it landed in MVP's favor with those positions.
Finally, do you even watch the gsl? He 2-0'd ensnare with mass infestors, the games were not even close. Against Happy, the game was closer than it needed to be only because nestea got too overzealous. Top played super cheesy, and it even looked like nestea would come back after losing almost everything on bel'shir. Funny thing is, he actually DID come back after losing a hatchery and a ton of drones in the next game. MMA outplayed him admittedly :/

with all the traveling would be a miracle for huk to win plz win tho

Nada > Huk - Seeing that Huk switched to EG he might've started sucking like rest of the team (exception of being Puma). So I'm calling Nada to take this! Although Nada did lose badly to protosses in Assembly, but it might've been just the whole abroad experience for him.
Nestea > Mvp was a tough call to make, but after taking a look at the maps I voted for Nestea. As long as he doesn't get caught by hellions or drops. If a zerg is to win against Mvp it is Nestea so, zerg god fightiiing.
Ryung > Puzzle, just voted for the terran here since most protosses take super greedy expansions and get punished by some 111 all-in or something like that. Hoping for Puzzle to take the series tho since he is currently one of the few protosses entertaining to watch.
July > HongUn - I honestly have no idea how Hongun has been able to get so deep every single GSL. If July has seen any games of Hongun ever he knows that there will be with 100% certaintity a stargate builds or a messy blink stalker build.
