This event takes place twice each weekend with both the KOTH Korea event on the KR server and KOTH International on the EU server. Each episode features exciting competitive players from GSL stars to underrated team practice heroes. Ladder points accrued for performing also contribute towards eventual offline events with much larger prizepools to be announced later in the year, and strong performances in the KOTH lead of course to potential invites to the $20,000 offline KOTH event.

All invited competitors will play in order against the winner of the previous match. After all competitors have played, the player standing undefeated at the end will recieve $100 (AU$), and the player with the longest win-streak of the night will recieve $200 (AU$). Ladder points for the event will also be awarded as below:

Any reasons why?

He means that the addition of LiquidHero to the line-up leaves only one space remaining to be filled.

So there is no way zenexHack can win more than one match isn't there? While Cezanne has the opportunity to win 14 matches in a row. How do you choose who goes in what order, and don't the players who play earlier have a huge advantage?

edit: ah I think I see. hack has 0 chance to get the $200, but only has to win one match for the $100. While cezanne has 0 chance to get the $100, but has a chance at winning the $200.

actually Cezanne can get last man standing aswell if he does go on a 14 win streak... which most likely will never happen for anyone.

I don't understand this format. The last player on the list has 50% chance of becoming the last man standing and no chance to have a winning streak of 2 or more.

Last man standing gets invited back and gets position 1 next week giving the best chance for longest streak so it balances out.

I see....It goes back to the beginning of the list and the cycle never ends? If it does end, then who gets to be the last player on the list the next time. It's good to get the last position and have a big chance of winning $100, which is easier than getting the longest streak.

I get in touch with the managers and from there's it's either requesting a specific player or asking the manager to get players that are interested in playing

Just to explain what happened with the d/c there, instead of a regame we will just play the 2nd player in the series and then inori will play the winner when he gets online. Seeing the order is randomised it is fair and it covers the case that inori's internet disconnected and he was offline for 10+ mins.

They just switched up schedule because Inori's comp died on him, he'll presumably be slotted back in somewhere later.

FXO, thank you for letting OrigineTV cast this. Listening to something in french once in a while is an interesting change

Edit: Wow, french caster is doing it solo, that's a hard feat. Filling blank time is soooo hard when casting alone.

Inori's 4th gate finishes and comes out ahead in the unit count after the first engagement. Proxy pylon going up in Inori's 3rd.

Both players throw down Twilight tech, and Inori remains a warp-in ahead.

Both players throw down Twilight tech, and Inori remains a warp-in ahead
.

Both players going for Blink, Inori behind on the time, but Vines' delays his attack making up for the deficit.

Both players engage at Inori's main choke, Inori ~15 supply ahead due to superior micro and positioning as Vines' retreats.

Or tech switch. Dark shrine would have been a decent choice, or a warp prism to force his stalker concave out of position.

Overcommiting is a failproof way to eventually lose your advantage, Inori seems to be great at doing that. Too bad, he handled that early game pretty well.

Just curious, is this the ladder version on Nerazim, or have any changes been made?

Also, way too tired to do any LRing....not at home so no double monitors either.

Ladder version haha, probably not entirely balanced at this point but the map pool needs to be switched up every few weeks or so to keep things interesting!

TheBest with an interesting opening.

5rax with a second inbase CC for a sick marine push, then suddenly two gases.

edit: marine push failed so hard, hopefully he has followup marauders soon

Luckily the players spawned cross position, which appears to be fairly balanced at this point, compared to the other possibilities.

Ah, that would make more sense.

Anyway, I'm probably the only one rooting for Inori here. Best of luck to the newest Liquid member!

Fenix will keep being pushed back, I saw him on MSN briefly and sent a reminder but then he went offline so it might be internet issues or something. Eventually he will be walked over if he doesn't show, but it won't count as a win for the win streak Might be replaced!

French commentator on OrigineTV said he has computer issues and will play whenever he can fix it, if he can fix it. So I can confirm that

oh god, this hero vs lucky game makes me cringe. Sure the DT expand doing no damage caused hero to be behind, but seriously what do you do vs 3base/4base roach infestor...its just rediculous Amoving and spamming S R -_-; any suggestions? i dont feel like having perfect blink stalker control and good positioning is enough (as clearly indicated this game).

well I don't think there is any solution to that, cept for just playing better than zerg... unless protoss contructs a dominant position in early to mid game, the matchup goes to zerg favored.
