I dont know what makes Americans constantly think ( especialy casters ) that Korea > EU ( or all foreigners) . Nerchio is clearly the second best Europe player right now and i see him be able to take a GSL finals title. The only issue with him is that he cant accept my superiority over him. And to the Mana vs Puma series , Mana isnt at a level of Puma if you saw the series from Puma vs Sase then u know where its at dont know why Puma decided to play that odd in those series. And to my fellow toss underlings outta there stop FFEing Nerchio shows why its absolutely useless and i never played FFE because i knew game maths dno why most toss prefer FFE .

Intentionally or not it was better for him to lose as his chances to get to the finals arguably increased rather than declining. No offense to MaNa though as he was utterly dominating PuMa but potentially facing MC in semi's or facing Socke/Kas. I'd go with the latter even though they are still scary. I hope for a foreigner upset and as it looks right now it's possible to happen.

PuMa can win vs Nerchio, but Nerchio is good enough to win against PuMa. All matches are hard to call. @Serashin, who's the best European player?

Other than that is really hard to call. PuMa can win vs Nerchio, but Nerchio is good enough to win against PuMa. All matches are hard to call. @Serashin, who's the best European player? The guy who made the thread said MC won, and that he's facing stephano tomorrow.

MaNa has to win vs Glade, Glade looks totally unrefined, but i think MaNa's still lacks the fluidity of players like MC or in-shape Huk pvz. So he can be suprised by Glade's Beta builds (jk). If MaNa plays his casual style and dont get cought of guard by mass roaches, he should take it easily. Select imho play pvt kinda forcefully similar to tvz, if MC stops his aggressions (which is the biggest merit of Select's play) he has no other outstanding talents to beat such beastly protoss. Socke vs Kas is big unknown for me, Kas loves to choke in big tournaments, Socke loves to play standard and be very conservative which plays right into Kas hands. 50-50 but im unsure about this one.

Puma in his best is to good player to try roach/infestor shenanigans imho, you have to play straight muta style. Well roach/inf may be ok only if he is super aggresive revolving about certain timings and catching him off-guard he has mechanics to pull it off. You have never played Nerchio the way you speak. Nerchio is insanely good at reading the game and has insane timings. If you push him, he has enough. If you defend, he's greedy and gets his tech up. Its incredible hard to play against him and I feel that the only real way of defeating him is dropping a lot while applying pressure. GoOdy also said that you have to suprise him, because he's just really good at defending and reading the game ;-)

Puma is good in both TvT and TvP but his TvZ is average. Losing to curious 1-4. Reminds me of bomber. Edit: Suppose to be huge upset since puma is korean after-all and they whenever they lose it's an upset,,,,

Nerchio doesnt play such opponents often, and he still lacks experience to read through them, because he doesnt play them often, yes i mean top Koreans. That ofcourse doesnt mean he cannot still pwn the shit out of Puma because he is more than Capable of doing it. On the other hand its the same way for Puma, as you said Nerchio has particular style of play, and if Puma doest prepare of course he will lose.

My biggest concerns for nerchio are his nerves on the one hand, and on the other he isn't too familiar with the korean cheeses / hard timing pushes. I can see him lose downright to some silly timing because he isn't prepared or doesn't know it / how to read it. But if it goes into a management style of game, i clearly favor nerchio. Stephano demolished puma really really hard on shattered temple, he's really really beatable.
