We're now featured on the TL calendar
So retarded, I hate byoc events. Thanks for nothing -_-, my father wont let me take his $6000 computer anywhere.
should post this in tl community imo
Dam you have to BYOC. Maybe I can find a buddy with a decent laptop to let me borrow.
You still play Trump. Haven't heard much from you anymore.
Why don't you just do this at Eudo in berkeley...Screw BYOC.
Sick, so looking foward to this.
UPDATE: This event will be broadcasted by none other than Jeffrey Shih aka TRUMP on TwitchTV. We're very happy and lucky to have Trump accept our offer to cast for us. <3
any chance you can/will provide computers? also, this is the same day as the UC san diego tournament, players such as myself in the the middle (santa barbara) it kinda sucks having to choose between the 2 ~.~ and i can use amtrak to go to san diego...
+1 for provide computers or change to a venue that can provide them. Eudo in berkeley has had a TON of support for TL it would be great to use them if possible...

I'm going to be posting questions that are asked via email and/or from this forum to us here if they're pertinent to this event:
What is the actual tournament time?
11:00am to ? We give ourselves at least 2 hours of prep time which include any un-forseen connection problems including sign-ups, check-ins, power issues, internet, competitors' set up, and our own streaming set-up. So we're looking at 11:00am as the starting point of the tournament. We're going by our last SC2 tournament we sponsored and set-up last December, time-wise.
An actual ITINERARY will be sent out to participants and posted here as we get closer to the event AND this timing may change.
As a competitor, you are still required to show at 9:00am and ready to game at 11:00am.

We got a couple more questions that was emailed to us, if this keeps up - we'll create a FAQ page for this purpose:
Is this tourney going wireless or ethernet?
We're Hardwired Gaming, hence we do not do wireless LAN gaming unless it's console gaming. We have our own switches/routers and ethernet cables and you only have to bring your computer. It's BYOC - click here what else you should bring with you to the event.
Can we play more than 1 race?
No, you choose your race at the beginning and play that same race for the rest of the tournament.
Are the prize monies pool or guaranteed?
The current prize monies of $600 1st Place, $300 2nd, and $100 3rd, ARE GUARANTEED and not prize pool because they are provided by our Sponsors.

Great LAN, props to Hardwired Gaming. Congrats to Mike and Ryan: Happy birthday Ryan! What a way to have an awesome birthday :D
Huge thanks to everybody that made it out yesterday!!! This was personally my favorite LAN to date! It was so awesome meeting so many of you and it was all possible because of teamliquid's awesome forums and our sponsors!
We've already started talking about our next one and would love to get some feedback. Please check us out on fb and our site so we can keep you up to date and get a better feel for what we can do to make our next event even better!!! =)
Does anybody have a contact for Eudo in Berkeley? We would def be down for a non-BYOC event!!!
Congrats to all of our winners, not just the tournament but all the swag as well. Hope you're enjoying your Cooler Master towers, Astro A30 headsets and Thermaltake swag! I'm jealous!!
~ Happy Birthday Ryan ~ =D
Waiting for the next one!
Definatley the best LAN to date within the bay area! had a great time and everyone was really friendly and a pleasure to be around. Can't wait for the next one!
Yup, what Jenn said, thanks for coming and making it the best LAN ever for everyone there. Grats to vileState (Ryan - you shoulda told us it was your birthday! happy bday!) and grats to Mike (vileSpanshwa) for 2nd place. By making it an all Team Vile final, you two really helped make the event as great as it was.
@Jenn thanks for an awesome job emceeing again and keeping us grounded. We have Conan aka VPSuppy as our contact for Eudomonia and he says they'd be real interested in working together
I just checked our registration and we got 190 people registered including spectators, crayzee!
Thank you Trump for the great casting!
Glad everyone got to take home a prize. Thanks again everyone especially the WoW kids that really whooped it up during the giveaways haha you guys made it that much funner for everyone.
