Everyone who is not send to an mlg directly by the gsl (into pool play) can. boxer/Ganzi would have all gotten code A spots if this were the case. (although coincidentally they all qualified through the code A qualifiers) Wrong. DRG/ The rule is top 3 foreigners are allowed to have a Code A seed. I'm sure foreigner includes any living in Korea. Yeah no Code A spots to Koreans. They can only get the Code S seed. In the past GSL gave free quals to Huk Haypro Ret, but now with the MLG system I kinda doubt they'll give foreigners in Korea extra seeds anymore. sheth got a seed

Yup, and to add to that, remember that the purpose of the rule is to encourage foreigner participation in the GSL, largely because the foreigner SC2 fan base is much larger than the Korean fan base.
Jinro is the type of player that this program is specifically targeting. If he has a strong showing at MLG Raleigh he could easily be among the top 4 foreigners who would want the Code A spot.

mouz-thor-zain in korean is mas-ter-jane hahahaha

wonder if yugioh will go min style and double fe lol

yes just in time for Thorzain!

Considering Yugioh practices with so many ridiculously good terrans I'm kinda expecting Thorzain to get rolled here =/ Hope he can do well though.

I promise you, if any of the next 3 foreigners playing today have anywhere near the same kind of games that Jinro just played, those games would be considered even. Those guys would play well, but not being quite there. Its sad because we don't have that many non korean heroes playing in korea. You'd think there would be a higher quality of support. Either: A) Quote someone and call them out B) Give your own support or, my personal favourite C) Read the fucking thread again
Jinro hwaiting! I'm sure he'll come back in force after he gets back into good form.

Hell no, he'll be back better than ever.

Regarding Jinro people need to differentiate between realism and blind fanboyism meeting each other in this thread. I hope Jinro will be happy in Korea, no matter what he is going to do now.

With brood lords you're only going to assault the enemy through the center of the map. They're so slow and take up so much supply that Zerg likely has few options for defense. With large numbers of brood lords they probably won't have a big muta ball anymore so drops would be much more effective. I think this is why MMA is so good at TvZ, his excessive drop play makes it impossible for Zerg to put together a big full supply push with brood lords, corrupters, and infestors.
Probably wouldn't have helped Jinro too much in that last game since he went full mech but if he had marines/medivacs with his tanks he could force back the zerg push with drops.
Just my 2 cents, I'm getting depressed watching Terran try and fight brood lord/infestor with no ghosts. Could work. I figured out after a while that PvZ, you could deal with brood lords by blinking around singing trololo sniping base after base, throwing 10 DTs in his main the second he moved out, even using VRs to do some damage in weird places. Even 20 brood lords and 20 infestors suck if there are no hatches behind to remax. He snipes one of your bases, you snipe five of his. It however does not always work, and being caught out of position just once means you're dead.
Aye that almost reminds me of midgame TvZ. Honestly Z bases are completely vulnerable if their supply is mostly tied up in Brood Lords and infestors. You can pick apart the Zerg deathball the same way zergs play against marine/tank balls. With counterattacks to force him back to his base.
You can even allow him to push his brood lords really far into your territory before you began dropping, that way his brood lords are stranded and he has to either:
1.) Pull everything back slowly 2.) Commit to a base race (he will lose) 3.) Pull the rest of his army and abandon his brood lords to die

lol and a new nickname for thorzain is born. Amazing how shit like this happens haha.

When moletrap was caster before in code a (season 4) he was terrible, and shouted all the time. Now he is much better, calmer and much more professional, good job Moletrap by evolving into one of my favorite casters

that's not why they called him the suicide toss D:

I really don't like how Moletrap talks down on players. Even if they were "bad" at Brood War, I think he should show more respect.
