Yeah, not like he's got a winning record against the only foreigner left in code S or anything. You could make the same argument against huk.

But he lost too 2 of the guys loosing 2-0 first match code a:

might need idra to come back :D

Nani is way better than IdrA, so IdrA wouldn't be able to win anything in Korea now.

Idra is the only foreigner with results in the GSL. Jinro has come closest with a Ro4 showing in the GSL, but idra had consistency

crazy foo

Are you seriously retarded?

IdrAs GSL results:
Top 32
Top 16
Top 8
Leaves Korea

My GSL results:
Top 4
Top 4
Top 16
Top 32
Code A
Code A
Code B

I dunno how the hell you can say IdrAs results in GSL are anywhere close to mine, especially when I beat him in GSL 4-1 --;

IdrAs is most definitely better than me now but his GSL results are not, no fucking way.

QFT hahahaha
IdrA's rule in full effect on this thread! 10 posts until we debate best foreigner zerg

DESTINY!!!

destiny rule in effect.

nah destiny's rule is for reddit. on TL we have idra's rule

Please, neither. NesTea rule plz

Nestea rule involves a functioning brain with plenty of results and data to back him. That can't be allowed in these threads.

Blaming maps, blaming races, bah. I hear this too much from foreign pros. Naniwa probably woulda lost on any map playing like that. Foreigners need to stop looking for excuses and practice like koreans if they want to win $$ anymore.

That's silly and true at the same time. I agree with they need to practice more, but you can't help but look at that and say that the maps are blatantly imbalanced. It definitely had a factor in how Nani did, and he could have done better on another map, and possibly won a game or the series.

Does anyone think they would play better if they were training for 2 weeks in korea in advance ? because Nani went from MLG to EU invitational to korea, Jinro was in China, same as Sase and none of them had more than a day or 2 of practice wherever they are staying now. I still have faith that a month or longer can let them improve and own some faces in GSL.

What other builds can protoss do? A spore colony at each base shuts down DTs, 6 gateway builds are easily scouted and stopped and faster robos are autoloss if zerg goes mutas.

Puzzle wins with 6 gate blink and his 500 APM.

You need basically insanely perfect micro to play top level toss. And people say its the easy race.

Great, no foreigner is ever going to do well in Code A. Even if Naniwa stays in Korea to train and becomes good enough to compete, simply by living and training in Korea he'll magically become a Korean, just like Huk. It's hopeless!

stop being so pessimistic about foreigners. there are like 6.55 billion people on the planet. there are 50 million Koreans. the,y, foreigners, Will catch up. that is a guarantee. It's all about dedication. there is no reason to believe that Japanese, Chinese, Americans, Or Europeans are inferior to Koreans in SC2 on pure ability. I mean look who made South korea to the country it is today. USA man.

??

what's up with your punctuation

I don't think you get his point/humor; pointing out that naniwa living in Korea will now make him Korean and not a foreigner anymore

Making it into GSL once is not doing well.

Idra, Jinro, and Huk all made it into the top 8 at least once.

Jinro had a shot at winning one.

doesn't change the fact that right now he's probably worse than nani, thorzain and sase.

Oh my...... Black Wednesday...

I really wish thorzain and naniwa had arrived a week ago in Korea. So they could prepare and get rid.of jetlag. Shame to see them lose. Also surprised sase lost 2-0 after his great run at cpl China. Not surprised Jinro lost, don't think he can come back to code a either( except through mlg )

That was expected even at this time last year. For company long term objective, Gom shouldn't focus too much on foreigners as they did, they should really develop their Korean fan base. As a local sports, 90% of players are Koreans, but foreigner fanbase is even larger than local fanbase, not much Koreans actually watch GSL, that is not a good sign for Gom.

So did artosis and bitbybit.

Idra had been in every GSL since the first though.

omg seriously who cares what IdrA did. And the first 3 GSL were just absolute terrible.

Ok, wilt chamberlain and oscar robertson were terrible because they played in shitty eras compared to now. Your argument is meaningless because you can't compare time periods. It's like bitching about easy or hard brackets, you play who you play and deal with it.

Dude, you have absolutely no idea what you are talking about. The players involved in the first season was so bad... IdrA was practicing since beta, of course he would qualify.

the foreign scene will be dead in a year at this rate. it's impossible for the foreigners to get as good as the koreans, and how can the scene survive with koreans taking top 3 at every foreign event and stealing the money? lol.

And who's fault is that? The Koreans train for 10 hours a day by playing customs with each other. Most foreigners do some laddering for an hour or two. There's nothing necessarily wrong with laddering to practice every once in a while, but just like with any other sport, you need other people who you know pushing you along. You need coaches and you need someone to make you practice for hours on end until you get it right.

The Koreans have that; foreigners don't... yet.
