Ya but Thorzain could beat Nani just the same since his TvP is quite good.
Regarding the music, they're never going to please everyone but given this is a Blizzard event why not just use in game music? There's a hell of a lot of it and no one could really complain unless it went on for way too long and that's more an issue of having too long between games. It wouldn't even have to be just SC2 music, they have whole d's of the stuff. Neutral music solves all!

Nani tweeted this morning to say he could hear the Polish commentary etc through both his and the blizzard headphones they are wearing. Obviously he's a bit concerned that this would be giving Tarson an unfair advantage.
hah! that's what ive been saying the whole fucking day yesterday. but people just didnt want to believe me, saying it didnt matter. there you have it.
So that means Socke could have won his games against Tarson. He did a lot of hidden techs, which all were denied by Tarson. Too much of a coindicence.
? He went for DT's, which Tarson scouted with a lifted factory. In the second game he scouted no expo, which was bad from Socke. There was nothing weird about those games, you people overreact to everything. If Tarson couldh ear something, so could Socke, and he would've said something about it.
Tarson said in the interview that his intuition told him to send a second SCV to scout, and that SCV scouted no expansion... Well, I think that now, thank to Naniwa's tweet, we know that Tarson's intuition was probably none other than stream-hearing... it's a shame I like Tarson but it really looks like not a fair event

Everybody get at least 1 000$ ? OMG ! Now i know why Nerchio came, 1000$ just to show your face in your country oO. It almost look unfair in comparison to MLG
I'm pretty sure each player would have showed up for a train-ticket and a sandwich ;-)

Borrowing our Dutch players heh? :D
Are there any noticable players from Belgium?
Some decent players, but none able to compete at the highest level atm. The Belgian community is rather small too, furthermore the dutch speaking and the french speaking community are split.
Well, Orly is pretty high on the NA ladder atm, he's beaten Rainbow, sheth and some other NA GM players, but that's just ladder though
Belgian people should support french players !!! Stephano #1 european zerg, if he was there he would just crush Ret so easily... I'm really wondering what criteria they used to pick the playrs for this, but I feel that some choices are really bad... I mean, Strelok ? Really ? What did the guy achieve ? Socke is boring, too... two polish players and no french it seems ridiculous to me, I hope we'll have a France vs. Poland showmatch soon to show how absurd this all is !
I don't know. Ret's ZvZ is statistically his best matchup.
