well at least it would be kinda obvious for the casual person to get an idea of what's happening, CTF and conquest are pretty simple formats to understand
and tbh for me personally wow vanilla pvp was much more fun than arena ever was

Also for people who are interested in watching the wow but don't normally I really really wish I could post this video (can't at work on iPod, maybe someone can post it) where a Mage called orangemarmalade wins a 2v1 increbily vs a Mage/priest to make a comeback to win a tourney. There is a YouTube video that explains everything he does in the 10-20 seconds to turn it around and it's incredible. I hope someone can post it for everyone its already been posted ![]() oh sweet thank you thesidu and fyzar

Rated Battlegrounds aren't anywhere near competetive on the same level as arena, even with the faults arena has and Blizzard's problems with balancing the game (it's mainly played/balanced for its PvE). Rated Battlegrounds are also very boring in the sense that there's only fightning near the nodes and as such there's less action and when there is action it's even harder to follow/make sense of since there are more far more people that the six in a 3v3.

It would be so much better from a spectator perspective. How does RBG work exactly? 10 people enter WSG in a premade and play a normal game? I haven't played WoW since Algalon. I think that would have a far far higher cap for communication, skill and teamwork than 3 people in a smaller box, although I can see the difference in gametimes ranging from 10 minutes to 2-3 hours or something silly. Yeah, you play only against other rated premade teams. You could switch into the team's voice chat during big battles and fly around the map focusing on small engagements. It would basically be the equivalent of playing CS on a normal map, vs playing on aim_map (arena.) You don't need to focus on what each ability did, you just need to cast the general idea of what each team was trying to do, such as training a healer. Again, it's like playing a normal CS map vs. aim_map. There's far more action on aim_map, but there's much less depth to it.

Switch between players, and then use an overhead camera over flags. It probably wouldn't work for WSG, but you could use it for Gilneas and AB. I think most of the game would be lost due to scale, might be me tho.
