People mentioned it a couple times on the Arena junkies thread but I still don't quite get it. (I played a decent amount of WoW before, druid and mage especially, though never arena stuff). every class has a global cooldown on almost every spell (turns off usage of all buttons except interrupting) which is 1.5 (rogue 1sec / haste lowers it for all classes), globaling is pretty much killing someone really fast (not necessarily in 1.5sec) before healer or anybody can react (like helions drop h3h)

I have to disagree, currently WoW PvP is the most balanced it's ever been for a long period of time. Unfortunately even at it's best it's still "broken". The reason for a lot of hate and anger towards blizzard is from the people who can't play it at the expected level, and whine for buffs for their class. There has been moments where the underdog class to outperform, but that's at the highest level of play. The problem was however, they had to sacrifice a lot of the uniqueness of classes and homogenize a lot of the abilities so they would be balanced across the board. Because of that, PvP has become less interesting in WoW for some players. It's mostly saddening because the 3 races of SC2 are glaringly different in mechanics yet are tightly balanced and when homogenizing some of the WoW classes, it's still too far off from SC2.

There are 8 teams with 3 players on the tourney (3vs3 format) Out of these 8 teams there are 7 teams with a ''warlock'' and 5 teams with a ''shaman''. The other teams that don't have a ''shaman'' have a ''paladin'' in it's place. There is only 1 different team that doesn't play a team that looks a lot like the other 7. So out of the 30 specialties in the game there are maybe 10 specialties being used at this tournament. That sums it up Ahhh, thanks.

Orangemarmelade <3 yeah, defo one of the most amazing things ive seen in eSports, allthough wow is a big blur for me most of the times (esp when its still 3vs3, so much stuff going on). i've had that in quakelive and CS too, still have to witness something like that in SC2, allthough that SC2's first year highlight movie gave me some chills too.
