The time and date of this event is ridiculous, i mean most people in the EU are either at work or school at this time and most in NA are a sleep. They only hurting themselves with this schedule.

Awesome tournement btw.

I get that people said PvP was a snoozefest to watch before, but about ZvZ? It's easily the most uninteresting matchup in this game.. it wasn't too interesting in BW either, but still :<

Sad that Kas can't really show his skill in LAN events .
Maybe he just needs a bit more experience.
Stephano looks really strong and would be a deserving winner, but i want Nada to take it
Go NADA!

While that was a BO win by Stephano, he still executed it flawlessly - as well as you can execute a 10 pool all-in against a hatch first.

Not sure how he predicted a hatch first from Sen though - Sen went pool first the last game on Shakuras. But I guess on a map like Shakuras it was a good guess.

Ah sorry, I tuned in a little late into the Shakuras game and thought it was a hatch first from Sen given the massive difference in drone count. Guess I was wrong.

Only two games left in the RO16, morrow's game is one of them so my guess is that he will be playing very soon. Hopefully all the streams won't cast the same match like they did now pretty much.

Edit: Morrow vs Welmu at 12:20 CET (in 12 minutes) on SETT TV2.

20к between streams (main is between 8-10, Russian 2 streams are 3k, the rest is french, german and finish) is not bad at all. Better than most NASL

I was thinking the same. I mean do they really have to start at 10am in order to finish up the whole thing today? We are practically in the ro8 now and its 12am

They moved it because Blizzard invitational is during the weekend, otherwise the tourneys would have overlapped.

The reason why this tournament is being played from thursday to friday is because there is blizzard invitational from saturday to sunday. They did not want these two tournaments to overlap. Whether this was dictated by blizzard or a mutual agreement remains unknown, just speculating since the tournament licence was pending for assembly for several months.

Yeah, they do seem to be rushing the tournament.. I know the overall scheduling was pretty harsh having to work around the b.net eu invitational (assembly dates have been reserved for quite some time). However, it does feel like the event is moving at an odd pace, but starting the ro16 13 hours before the finals are scheduled seems like it would hurt the players more than give them time to rest.. (then again, maybe better to schedule too much time than too little).

but at least MLG is on a weekend where most people in the EU have the choice of stopping up late to watch it. If this tournment was on the weekend they would at the very least double there viewers.

They are going to show Morrow vs Welmu on SETT TV2 (Finnish commentators), should be starting in ~10 minutes or so.

Yet the finals are on sunday, late in the night (early monday morning, when most people need to work again.
