SC2 scene is very NA-based despite them having the weakest pro scene. MLG is seen as the only LAN event that matters, when in reality its just one of many.
EU lans (Dreamhack is the exception) tend to get much less attention. There have been some big LAN events with literally 0 coverage on TL.
This weakest pro scene stuff is seriously blown out of proportion and not cool. Idra and Huk are representing USA in WCG qualifiers. I'd say that's as good as any other single country in the world.
And the U.S. is the #1 watcher of GSL so it's not true that MLG is "only LAN event that matters." Come on. Your post is full of falsehoods.
Two great players don't exactly make my statement any less true. NA is weaker than EU and KR overall, I think everyone has come to accept that by now.
With LAN event I meant these weekend-long tournaments, not longer leagues like GSL or NASL. I dunno how else to put it, so I just call them LAN events.
Obviously the EU runs deeper. For cultural reasons and practical reasons (more countries to draw players from).
But the top pros of EU and NA are no better than each other. It's silly the way people try to draw a correlation between place of birth and skill level. EU and NA top pros are both in the same boat being inferior to Koreans.
Did you think before you typed that?
It can obviously be a difference in skill level between the players in EU and NA if there can be a difference in skill level between EU/NA and Korea.
Where did I say there couldn't be? I simply said there isn't.

It seems both are fine with the way the game is progressing. I have to admit MaNa should at the very least get rid of the creep at his goldbase though. Oh, right when I say that he sends out a Stalker taskforce to do that . So yeah... just wait till they hit max, I suppose DIMAGA will move out soon after if he has a sufficient bank to remax instantly.
dimnaga gets maxed and hes just gonna wait for mana to get maxed too, i dont like how he plays >.< he was maxed when mana was 150 supply lol and didnt attack, even if he wouldnt finish mana he would be able to reprocude and mana wouldnt

True and it's a sad thing knowing the history of MLG. MLG doesn't care the least bit about ESPORTS they just want to make money, they are the ones who has been sticking to faux "esport" games for so long, games that most of us real gamers laugh at.
Lol are you seriously trying to say euro lans are altruistic and don't care about money?!
