Cant believe theres so much hate in these threads while we're so blessed with a wonderful event, with wonderful games. Last warning, whine and insult the players or commentators? See you.

I also feel kind of bad for DRG and race variety, but take away lesser players, not MMA ![]() Didn't realize MMA had dropped somehow (I don't pay quite as much attention to the Terrans ... they all look the same to me :p). And I wasn't suggesting taking anything from MMA, we just need DRG in Code A. Who knows, maybe he'll get it through qualifiers this time around but that also means someone in Code A is getting kicked out in first round (as DRG has proven capable of beating most of Code A players).

(Unintentional, I'm sure, but hilarious.) - Ganzi's somewhat adorable "im ur brother, go easy" moment in Ganzi vs. MVP. Followed by, y'know, one of the most intense TvTs ever. - Boxer's ".................." and Rain's "T.T" followed by Boxer's "david some do it T>T." - Boxer: "#1 plz. plz. gg. wp." I teared up. - MMA vs. Boxer in general. - MMA playing his fucking heart out against MVP. - MVP being adorably awkward on-stage. - Choya being Choya. - All the hugs. Seriously. Honestly, the only Korean you can accuse of not showing any personality is Alicia, and that's simply because he got knocked out so early. Check out Milkis's twitter meanwhile, and it gives you a look at those "boring Koreans." Sheesh. This. So much this. Boxer typing "#1 plz - plz" was the biggest tear-jerker moment for me in SC2 history. I didn't know I could be that emotionally invested in a game until last night, and I have never cheered for a Terran player as hard as I was cheering for MMA in the grand finals. Even with all the great games this tournament that gg from boxer is going to be the part I will remember years from now. Anyone saying the Koreans have no personality is an idiot. They BROUGHT all the drama and personality to this MLG, moreso than the foreigners.

Well he would be up like that vs any1 (also vs players he didn't play yet), since it's double elim and he hadn't lost yet....

The finalist didn't played with more than 7 players before the finals. Anyone else would have had bo7

but I have a question about the VOD's, wasn't it possible to get the 8h long vid, instead of selecting every match 1 by one ?

Anyone else would have had bo7 Naniwa and Kiwikaki had already played, so they did the extended series rule, playing a bo7 with Nani starting out 2-0. MMA and MVP had not already played, so they followed this rule, which I'm quoting below. 5. If the Players scheduled to play each other in the Finals have not yet played against each other in the Event, an initial Match must be played. If the Player who came from the Championship Bracket Winners Bracket wins the initial Match, they will win the Event. If the Player who came from the Championship Bracket Losers Bracket wins the initial Match, the Match will expand to a Best of 7, include the initial Match, and pick up where that Match left off. For example, if the Championship Bracket Losers Bracket Player beat the Championship Bracket Winners Bracket Player 2 Games to 0 in the initial Match, the Best of 7 will resume with Game 3 and the Championship Bracket Losers Bracket Player leading 2 Games to 0. When the Match is resumed, the loser of the initial Match must select the Map for the upcoming Game. Game 1 of an initial Match must be played on the Map that has been selected for Game 1 of the Finals. Basically, MVP won the "Initial Match", which is bo3, so he won the event. Going by these rules, had MMA won the third map, it would've been expanded to a bo7 with MMA up 2-1.

What does this have to do with Terran dominance? There were actually 3 protoss, Choya, Alicia and FXOz, but they were all in the open bracket which is especially hard for 'toss because, with so many games played, the chance of running into a PvP (aka coinflip) is pretty high, all 3 ended up getting eliminated in PvP. I agree that T is not overpowered but I do think it's harder for Terran to get beaten by less skilled players.
