Who cares about the games? It could be two first time bronzers and I wouldn't care, all I want is E-FIGHTS! That's what this is all about

Exactly. Not to mention they had SlayerS mother fucking BoxeR. He invented the E-sports concept because of his play, but also because he had a rock-star personality that OGN could market. Besides, this isn't fucking reality television. I don't give a fuck if the guy was a cardboard box. We watch the mother fucking game.
If you want to see shitty Starcraft, go click on the [Show xx non-featured] and find a stream with no viewers. And excuse us while we watch high-level play which we can admire. Just because Koreans don't walk off from a handshake, doesn't mean their games are any less entertaining. If we are to judge from this MLG, shaking your opponents hands correlates quite well with success. Don't even get me started on bowing!

Um, can you cite my any examples of where the foreigner match-ups were brimming over with personality this MLG? It's not like anyone is going to be talking about the zany antics of Sjow v. Haypro for weeks to come. And having Boxer play deep into an SC2 tourney is all the drama that a true Starcraft fan should ever need.

Why do you think it has to be drama?
Why can't it just be the Koreans messing around with foreigners similarly to how MC does it?
I'm going to say something, and I hope I won't get flamed for it simply because people interpret it as "offensive".
Look, Koreans are great. They are entertaining pro gamers that I LOVE watching for the amount of skill displayed(although mirror match ups get tiresome after a while, but that would happen regardless of who is playing). But frankly, I feel that some of the foreigners get the feeling that the Koreans are all just "we play for keeps, not for fun, we will crush you!". And frankly, when you don't get to see something like how MC/MMA messed with Idra at Columbus, I think that feeling becomes more believable.

Watching top players > watching good players. Always. Sure, it's harder to discern personalities through a translator and Koreans tend to be a little more reserved but you're not telling me Korean games don't have drama too and you can't seriously be telling me you only watch SCII for the drama anyway.
Hopefully foreigners start to train properly now that they don't have any tournaments where they can hide from the Koreans. Aside from Huk, Jinro and Naniwa there really aren't many with the right attitude.

I can't blame the koreans or the management because it would be unfair to not include them but...boy does it make events more boring for foreigner viewers. We already have gom...I'd like to see some foreigners play for once. The skill gap between koreans and foreigners are getting bigger and bigger just like in BW. Extremely rude, just wanted to point this comment out for more people to see. I wonder how many of you out there thinks just like this guy. Can't beat them? lets try to find other ways to bash them so you can feel better about your self and whatever "race/nationality" you relate to. You are a pathetic person, as are all the people who share your view. Lol? Calm down bro. Just my opinion, I prefer watching foreigners, I'm pathetic because I prefer watching foreigners? Just because you disagree with it doesn't mean you need to go on a hissy-fit. Your post was more ban-worthy than mine, I'm not bashing any players or anybody at all, I'm saying I found this MLG boring compared to others, just a plain opinion. Events aren't perfect, just because it's starcraft doesn't mean it's perfect and heaven forbid there is a slight bit of criticism. You on the other hand are attacking me for these views, not very fair. I'd rather watch Huk vs Idra than GanZi vs MVP...sorry if that makes me "pathetic". It was your comment of "Koreans with zero personality". Just because you don't relate to them doesn't mean they don't have personality. You're just stereotyping all Koreans as having zero personality which is stupid. I'm fairly sure that anyone who knows what personality is would agree and say that there was minimal personality in the Koreans this MLG. Where did he say "ALL Koreans have 0 personality"? I think you're simply putting words in his mouth, which is stupid. Thank you for summing up what I mean. Getting like 15 replies like that to my post really reminds me of something zatic said a while back, implying that TL really just cares too much about what each person has to say lol -.-.
Or it just means you're, you know, wrong?

He said Koreans have zero personality in his first ****ing post. Read. You both are idiots. Think before you post.
Dude, are you kidding?
Someone said that he said ALL Koreans don't have personality, like hes stereotyping them.
Take your own advice and look it over.

Idra vs Cruncher White Ra in general. Why do you think he got such an awesome reception? How about Tyler?
Sure..except there wasn't any drama with idra vs cruncher..
White-ra i can't speak about. Tyler's just not very good and I'm not sure what kind of drama he garnered. What's your point here?

Believe it or not, there are actually people out there that enjoy the actual games itself. Drama and personality isn't wrong, but certainly come after the quality of the games. Having all foreigners might make the players more interesting (in your opinion at least), but that also means a lower quality of games. Not a good trade off if you're after REAL sports.
