Three code S guys had 1/2 the viewers of destiny combined. people are more entertained by flamboyant personalities than they are by being good at the game. I think that's a combo of their streams being relatively new and Destiny only being known for personality... in other situations/tourneys I think that's different.

I'm the biggest Korean fanboy, but even I felt a little empty after seeing Huk and Naniwa get stomped. I was happy, but felt some conflicting disappointment in the foreigners as well. I can't imagine what the foreigner fanboys are feeling after this tournament, lol. Either way, my boy MVP won, so hellz yeah! Of course it's disappointing, but people need to look past their preferred players losing and take notice of the fantastic games featuring other players. I didn't tune into MLG this weekend hoping for MVP to win, or any top 6 Korean domination to take place, but I enjoyed almost every second of the ride because the players that I did get to follow put up absolutely incredible games. Maybe I'm thinking too rationally though. Not everyone can look at StarCraft as StarCraft and be grateful for what we're watching 95% of the time. That being said, I better see HuK, Nani, IdrA, and Ret smashing through the competition at the next MLG.

Huk and Sen are the only non-Koreans right now who can stand reliably stand toe to toe with top Koreans in a BoX. Idra could too if he hadn't left Korea, but he did and it's showing. Hopefully Naniwa, Thorzain, Fenix, Sase, QXC and Moonan take their games to the next level after their Korea excursion.
