Just to expand on this - he beats alot of his opponents with really wierd timings, or just strange builds - In the IPL he beat socke game one with his two base infestor rush, in game 3 Socke just took a really quick third and rolled it with gate way units and archons. Destiny lost game one, although it was really down to the wire. Game two he did something really cool to win. Can't remember game three, so I guess it wasn't very good.
I thought he won game one and then Socke did a cannon rush game two and took game 3?
EDIT - Sorry that was Axslav, my bad guys, but the point stands.

The transitive property does not apply to sports or e-sports. Many different factors determine why a player loses to another.
I don't see Destiny winning a bo5 against any competent player. His advantage is surprisingly people with his low econ, Infestor rush. Once people learn to turtle into a 3rd instead of doing the standard 2 base Terran push, they would have effectively countered Destiny's build.

This is probably one of the worst threads i have ever read here.
However, interested in seeing Rain again after forfeiting his Code S spot. Destiny is the underdog, but let's see.

Just whisper into Rain's ear that destiny will use infestor lings, and automatically destiny chances will fall down.

His top level of play can easily compete with top high level players, there's no doubt in my mind he could have a solid chance of beating a lot of Koreans. I think some of his decision making can be questionable, but I don't think I've ever Destiny lose a ZvT in super late game, at least not that often. Of course, your original point is assuming Rain is going to bother trying to research Destiny for just 50 bucks, in a bo5, I doubt it.
Destiny fighting.

Destiny hasn't been top 200 since the launch of SC2... Who told you that o_O He made it into Grand Masters which is the top 200 of NA? Umm, GM hasn't existed since the launch of sc2....
Agreed, but Destiny has indeed been ranked in top 200 NA since the first time Blizzard released a list of the top 200. Remember that they used to release a weekly ranking.

LOL, I think you are still in denial that Destiny beat 2-1 Bomber and also beat 2-0 Ace xD

Remember when socke 2-0'd MKP? Is Socke now the best player in the world?

If you still think online results equal major tournament success, I don't even know what to say to you.

He did. He played ZeNEXPuzzle (Code A champion) on the KR server and dominated him. Took an entire series from him 2-1 I believe, possibly 2-0.
How many more top Koreans do we need to put in front of Destiny for him to knock down til people give him credit? I'm pretty sure Destiny could win GSL and people would still say he was no good. HuK believes Destiny is pretty skilled and a good played (as Jinros mentioned HuK saying before), so why is it so hard for people on here to give any credit?
EDIT: He beat Puzzle 3-1

He actually beat ZeNexPuzzle today 3-1 ( they played 3 times on NA and once on Korean server - Destiny won the Korean server game ).
I am only bringing this up because you brought up ping.

Online results mean nothing. If you don't do it at a LAN it's not worth a thing. If he gets into MLG Championship play then yeah I will give him credit as a top end foreign player.

I wanted to say that too and add NASL, then I noticed that to get into NASL you need to place high in an online tournament. :-/
Besides, big lans are rare, big online tournaments are much more often. So even though it's online, their mass makes a better judge of a player's capabilities.

Give him credit when he gets actual MAJOR tournament results. He has literally no tournament results and people credit him as being better then bomber or puzzle( who actually have tournament results). Destiny would get smashed if he went to korea to compete. Why? Cause he gets smashed in foreign tournaments.

To OP: I recommend you talk to Cella if you're looking for more players for the future.
