You probably have never seen Korean players do ling baneling micro in early game. Destiny always rages and call all-in whenever they do that to him on KR server.

The plan is to cast the replays Friday, Sep 02 10:00pm GMT (GMT+00:00) -- Really sorry no idea what happened to cause all the lagg, my only guess is ISP. My CPU and RAM were both below 50% and my speed test kept showing 5down 3up which is not enough to stream. My connection is a 30/15 so I was nowhere near my limit and after closing xsplit, my router was pushing under 100kbps so there weren't any rogue programs sapping my bandwidth.

It is unfortunate, but I am truly sorry I can't bring the games to you live. I don't know who's fault it is but I am taking off work to replace a lot of my consumer grade networking equipment with commercial. This allows me to have know for 100% certain if the problem is on my end.

I did not watch any game besides #1, but I heard these were pretty epic so please tune in. And yes, I am going to be recasting game #1.

Maybe this is the series that convinces Destiny that he needs to get a little more serious. He's been getting by on his assumption that his late-game zerg is good enough to beat the best of the best. I still think his late-game zerg is top-20 in the world quality, but obviously, game one of this series showed that while his micro, tactics, and game sense are indeed top-notch, his macro and mechanics really need some work. He could have had that game at multiple points, but for some reason he stopped injecting his hatcheries with his full energy queens, and if instead of the 1500/700 he was floating super late game, he had all that in roaches/hydras, he could have steam rolled golden's one main base right after he sniped all his tech. Instead he let him re-macro and build up a huge infestor/roach army again.

All that being said, game one was INCREDIBLE, and one of the most entertaining games I have ever seen. Infestors are easily one of the most exciting units in the game. Imo, they should revoke the damage nerf, and instead "nerf" if by making it a slow instead of an immobilize. Add some counter-micro skill, while still enabling a skilled player to wreck with them. I am seriously scared about a IT nerf though, making them cost more energy. Those 8 infestor hit squad raids destiny was doing midgame were BRUTAL.

I think if he had a consistent set of quality practice partners that could provide constructive input (not only play games against) and help him analyze his game more precisely, he could improve. While he does go over both his wins and losses, I feel that he could be more precise with his play analysis whether it be figuring out the exact timing/resources/etc. rather than estimating.

There was no broadcast yesterday, but Destiny was streaming while playing so that's why the outcome is already known to stream viewers. Today the replays are being casted

Game 1 is probably the best ZvZ EVER played in SC2 history thus far.

Destiny plays late games because he is incredible at it. Why would he not play to his strength? His micro is nasty too, but with LATENCY he does not want to Ling Bling on Korea. Why? LATENCY. I say it repeatedly so people remember that he plays much more aggressively on NA than KR. Because of LATENCY.

He does NOT rage about "ling bling all in-ing". He rages because he feels he can't hold it because of a factor outside his control, re: LATENCY. So he doesn't do it on KR much.

Oh noes. It's an incredible series. Both players put on an unreal show.
