It was RO16, MC lost in RO8 to Hongun.

I think you misunderstand the statement. He meant Huk wouldn't have given a crappy performance in the Ro8. Which I kind of agree with. I was hoping Huk would have advanced also, to show that foreigners still have what it takes. Just kind of unfortunate that he lost and MC proceeded to lose in such a fashion.

I don't see how people can say such crap with so much confidence. People can perform poorly at any point in a tournament. Also, what does it matter at which point in time you show a crappy performance? The later you show the better because hey, at least you made it further than you would have.

Well, I was just using the previous posters words. I guess it's kind of a bad word to use. I would probably describe it as disappointing though.

Yes, I suppose it's the mentality that if you knock out a teammate you should do your best to make it deep. But still, Huk could have lost just as MC did if he were on a bad day. It's just random chance sometimes.

No it clearly says that Huk played in RO8. And saying that Huk would of won Hongun doesn't make any sense. MC didn't even play crappy, people are just not giving any merits to Hongun.

He shouldn't have all-in'd there, he is the better player and should have won if he just played standard. Oh well.

I really love to argue with MKP fanboys. He is overrated in the sense that people call him a God of terran where as he is not even the best terran on his team.
Yea he made his way to 3 finals, but so did fruitdealer win a GSL but now he is just a average player now.

You should really get banned for player bashing. I don't get how people who say anything bad about Liquid players or Idra get banned instantly but the mods don't care at all if it's about Korean players. Fruitdealer won a GSL a long time ago, MarineKing has been consistent ever since his first final appearance.

Maybe you like arguing with "MKP fanboys" but you're ignorant and oblivious to actual results. He is still one of the best Terrans, he's better than anyone on oGs-TL with the exception of MC and even though that game didn't quite show it because of the build, I'm sure he would easily crush Huk in a bo5.

He is the best Terran on his team.

That's exactly what the other guy meant when he said that MKP fanboys overrate him. The best Terran on his team? Sorry, but there's already a Terran on Prime that actually won the Super Tournament, doing what MKP was never quite able to do. Better than anyone on oGs-TL? Players like TOP and NaDa could very well beg to differ. Not saying that they're definitely better than MKP, but you shouldn't be able to just boldly declare that MKP is obviously better than either of them. Again, that's what the other guy meant when he said that MKP fans overrate him.

Yeah I'm sure Nada and Top are better than MarineKing. Just like their results show.

MarineKing had to face off vs Nestea and then twice vs MVP back when MVP was absolutely unstoppable and didn't drop games.. so sorry that I'm not quite convinced Polt is better.

MarineKing has still been the most consistent Terran.

Arrow if you think that because PoltPrime won 1 tournament against someone who choked under pressure, that makes him better then MKP a guy who crushed through people like MC, only to face MVP twice in the finals, and before that take Nestea to a nailbiting game 7 you are ... sigh i got to stop reading these tournament threads lol. Drives me crazy.

Polt has crushed through MC twice so far with a score of 4-0 i think. It's the current state that matters, atm Polt > MarineSlumpPrime

2 of those wins were form Open Season 1 which makes it irrelevant, the other 2 games were also really stupid.

Mmm, MC gave hongun 2 free wins in that series, don't know how you could see it differently... Getting supply blocked because of a pylon, and the last game he just wasn't ready at all.

I think one of the reasons why oGs-TL is not doing as good as they should be doing in GSTL is because they dont have a strong Zerg player. It is easy for other teams to prepare vs them and it also makes their best players struggle vs the top zerg players :/.

I'm sorry but is anybody else teary eyed seeing a foreigner representing the best team in Korea in the ace match between two of the best teams in the GSL after so many years of Korean BW dominance?

HUK SMASH HIM!

T^T!!!!!

Best team in korea? HAHA

If 1/4 of the players from the most prestiges league in the world are in this team. Then yeah, this team is the best team in Korea.

IM is definitely the best Korean team imo, I'd put their 4 best vs any team and bet on it

statistically oGs has the most players in the best tournament, even after like 7 seasons.

On the other hand if some one likes a team they can make w/e claims they want. Arguing about opinion is clearly a waste of time.

TheWinD (given, plus not in S anymore) and Inca shouldn't even count (Inca is such a one (maybe two) dimensional player). oGs also has like 6 more players then IM. I'm not a fanboy of IM (I do love MVP(player) however) I just honestly believe they easily are the top team. They've already won 2 matches without even playing Nestea or MVP.
and to be honest, I don't really think Ensnare is that good imo

It's not about quantity, it's about quality:

oGs players in the semifinals this season: 0
IM players in the semifinals this season: 2

Eh...if you're a big Huk fan, watch it since it's cool to see him win such a big match for his team. As an actual game, it was pretty average. His first match with Check was more entertaining.

Best game of the day was probably MC/BbongBbong.
