i would bet idra or select cant even do this, nor want to waste the time in doing so.

This "tournament" has been designed so that the chances of actually winning any money are virtually 0 it's actually statistically identical to flipping a coin twelve times and every time consecutively achieving the same outcome.
Since (no offence) none of the GM participants are even that well known there is also no prestige for any of the open challengers.. and the result being very very little incentive. I doubt you would even be able to call them Bo5 due to rules not allowing people to win the money after a loss. there wouldn't even be a real possibility of seeing a fifth match since no one who has a real shot at winning would even waste their time after a single defeat
I would suggest using "Free to Play Open bracket tournament" with the prize being show matches with the GM players instead

what's even dumber is that the gms also participate in the open bracket so and try to cheese out people in bo1s before they even get to the finals. what a joke seriously. worst thing ever. and yeah 12-0ing 4 cheesers in 3 different matchups is nearly impossible. even for top level korean players it would be extremely difficult. not to mention if you win the open bracket, win 11 games, lose last game you've just wasted so much time.
