Jaedong, Fruitdealer for a while, Nestea... god Fruitdealer was never this dominant in zvz lol (didn't even play a ZvZ till open season 3 - after he stopped doing well too) Could've sworn there was a zerg back then which wasn't Nestea who was feared in a ZvZ... might be delusional though Isn't Zenio's zvz really good? I know he's been around since the beginning. DRG's is apparently so good no one even sends zergs at him. But you know, that's just rumors since we've never seen it. zenio is the best zvp in Korea (and outside too highly probably) afaik everyone scared of drg's zvz What? Everyone scared of DRG's ZvZ? He has played one ZvZ against Cezanne total in the GSTL - nothing more. Because you know as much as the Korean players know. But it's true, he said himself in an interview that ZvZ is his worst matchup, that ZvP is his second worst, and ZvT is his best.
And afaik his ZvT is my favourite. I don't know if he's the very best at it, but he sure knows how to engage and hold.

That was awfully one sided

For you yes. For me, this is what I used to play several months ago. Koreans are very behind in zvz metagame. hahhahhaahhaha you can't actually be serious 14gas, 14pool into speedling/bane without scouting the opponent is a build done since beta and used to be the most common zvz build. For Tasteless it was something totally new and apparently some of you agree with him. Korean zvz is just a lot of gamble, but I'm not going to explain you how zvz works now. It's a build done since beta? I've never heard of a 14/14 in beta. It was all 8/10/11 pools into 15/18 hatches. I think you're talking out of your ass. Also not scouting with 14/14 is a little silly. If your opponent 15 hatches, and you scout with your lings you've got to play from behind but if you drone scout it, you can make more lings or try not get as behind by throwing a hatch down. ZvZ is a gamble in general. I think Korean ZvZ is far ahead of NA/EU ZvZ for sure.
+ Show Spoiler + This is a beta build, but maybe in bronze league it wasn't so common.
Nerchio has a 70% win rate in zvz and he's been playing the same build for several months already. How is zvz a gamble?

Nestea had more lings than a Chinese orphanage.

i feel Coca is actually pretty good in ZvZ, he would have beaten a lot of good players with his playstyle today

Poor Coca preserving his 0% ZvZ win ratio despite looking much better than a 0% player in the match up lol. One day Coca!

I thought Coca Cola owned Nestea, not the other way around?

I think today was designated as the day where GOM try to show us the fastest Bo5's possible. First Nestea's ZvZ, then MC's PvP.

Nestea takes a blind gold, Coca thinks baneling cause no hatch at his natural. Scouts the gold. Loses to twice the roaches. 2nd game: Coca has ninja zerglings dodging overlords to spawn banelings to hit the base, but a moves them into the queen or hatch. Roach ling kills him after a few waves (Nestea was going 1 base roach). Standard ZvZ. Rofl @ game 2. ;D
Easy wins for NesTea. Standard.
Looking forward to the next series... so long as it's NOTHING like last night Code A finals (PvP)....

I don't know if I'd even praise him for his banelings, he A-moved into a queen and did 0 dmg.
