Stay positive, be happy and enjoy the event. Caster bashing and player bashing? Too much whining? Uh-oh!

I think it's a bit bullshit that HuK could meet Nada or Haypro in the first (or second?) knockout round. Surely they could've put a tiny bit more effort into ensuring no early team kills or eliminating one of the favourites so early (HuK/Nada especially if it conspires that they meet that early).

Don't worry, Huk and Nada will win their groups, and then we will have Huk vs Nada epic finals !

I think it's ridiculous that people think tournament organizers should care about team affiliations for an individual tournament.

^ the only fair way to do it is by randomly selecting groups. The only tournament that puts any effort into group selection is GSL where it's not actually the organizers doing it.

links to SETT TV stream anyone?

Sen posted his luggage lost message on his fb; recovered eventually.

Nada (keyboard only) defeated Nada (touch-pad only) in the semifinals to get to the final 2, while Nada (mouse only) had the bad fortune of running into Nada (normal) in the semifinals of his side of the bracket. Self explanatory, really.

It would make sense to put the 2 biggest names on the exact opposite side of the draw so they can only meet in the semi final or final or something... T.T

Ah man, same days as Quakecon, so conflicted.

The Quakecon stream will probably not work though, so that might help.

Maybe not a lot of people that live on the other side of the world can make every tournament... 15 (almost 1/2) of the players are from Finland or Sweden, and only 3 players are not from Europe.

Huk vs Sen in the final. Only 1 Korean, that basically ruined the legitimacy of this tournament. Not enough Korean means lack of skill level in a supposedly professional tourney.

I dare say that the lack of Koreans for this tournament is more likely because none of them applied for the tournament besides NaDa. Yes, the tournament level is not as high as it could have been, but it is more on players who seem not to be interested enough in the 15 000 $ prizepool.

These comments about "bias" and "legitimacy" are so unbelievably ignorant.

Not every tournament will have a flood of korean players just because MLG and Dreamhack had them. It's still really expensive to send players across the globe.

Haters gonna hate, I'm gonna be enjoying the first major tournament in a while where the big story isn't "will a foreigner beat a Korean".
