Stay positive, be happy and enjoy the event. Caster bashing and player bashing? Too much whining? Uh-oh! |

If u want 10+ Koreans at every tourney and have them take all the topspots u don't support the foreign scene and don't want it to grow. Guess what, the 'foreign scene' is behind the korean scene in every way and it's simply not gonna catch up by itself. If you keep giving all money to koreans the foreign scene is gonna keep falling more and more behind and in 2-3 years maybe there won't be any foreign players that even stand a chance in KR. This is one of the most ignorant posts I've ever seen on TL. Please don't post when you don't know what you're talking about. Ah, that's why a lot of progamers are getting demotivated to even go to LANS. I have allready heard on multiple streams from the best players in the world: 'Why bother to go to that tourney, theres like 5 koreans coming' yeah why bother practicing, why can't they just hand us our checks and prizes see what I did there... Ur missing the point though, I don't say they should do that at all. But at the moment it just feels like people from a division lower are competing vs people they are never gonna beat in this situation anyway, mostly because for 90% of those people it's simply not possible to practice 10-12 hours a day since they need to make a living too. I don't think the foreign scene will get any better from getting stomped by koreans on every occasion.
Foreign teams in general have more money than korean teams, that's why so many koreans are doing partnerships with foreign teams to get travel money to international tournaments.
Many foreigners simply do not want to practice 10-12 hours per day, or live in a training house with other good players doing that amount of practice. You get better by practicing with the best players, and by discussing with them. Sure, korean training can be done outside of korea, but it requires a lot of sacrifice.

Also, not even the foreign players with good salary play 10-12 hours a day. The only one coming to mind who practiced alot is Naniwa, who happens to be one of the few able to put up a decent fight. Coincidence? I think not.

Are there group standings anywhere?

for all of them its a job, they still get paid, they still win online cups, if they want to get bigger piece of pie they need to step up their game and win vs decent opponents, the difference is NOT that big, and top foreigners already proved it by taking games/series, its just their dedication limiting them, its funny because it shouldnt be the case when it is their freaking job to be the best its not about their mood to compete with koreans
if we isolate foreigner tournaments from Korea the difference will be even bigger and every international tournament gonna get stomped (see BW)
and to note this tournament is not that easy cake, we have nada, huk, sen which are already more or less on "korean level" + some hungry on succes top foreigners who can take game from EVERYONE.

Only Sen/Huk/Nada worth watching and Sen and Nada's groups are pretty much free wins. Guess I might tune in later to watch Nada own white guys. Thank you for letting us know, I'm sure all or TL were waiting impatiently for a word on when you would start watching. Sarens owning it up SlayerS style. The point was that the player pool is really disappointing, but thank you for being interested in my stream watching schedule.
I bet you loved the NASL player pool and predicted that PUMA would own everyone?

Morrow getting cheesed, loses game 1 against Fuzer

lol fuzer big allin 3 barracks+vcs 1-0 for him against morrow

Then they should get a real job and stop playing SC2. Foreigners shouldn't expect to win any money if they don't practice nearly as much as the koreans. I hope Koreans continue to dominate all tournaments to force foreigners to do something about their practice-schedule.

I love you Fuzer :p Morrow should have just 14 hatched though, Fuzer always does things like this.
Edit: 14 hatch 14 pool i mean. He did 16?

The SETT stream has Totalbiscuit + Apollo? Why wasn't I told?!
Rename it "Shoutcraft" and you'll get double the viewers at least.

Actual advertising beyond front page news the day before the tournament doesn't prepare people, but as the word spreads more people will join.

Fuzer is fun. Learned his game from BITBYBIT. :D

Bischu pushed a little too greedily there. He should've taken out Dimaga's third and retreated.
