Stay positive, be happy and enjoy the event. Caster bashing and player bashing? Too much whining? Uh-oh!

sorry i disagree, if huk plays anywhere near himself he will dominate mana so hard.

huk consistently outclasses nani (who is considered best pvp in europe no?)
from what ive seen, mana is very mediocore in pvp

When did Huk outclass Naniwa? I agree that he should be able to win against Mana pretty convincingly, but outclassing Naniwa is nit entirely true.

Last MLG 2-0

and Homestory Cup final he beat Naniwa aswell, after losing the winner semi tho, but overal he beat nani there aswell.

I watched all of the HSC3 games, and there was nothing about them you could even remotely call outclassing. In the end Huk won because of one misread/mistake from Naniwa who actually had the game almost in the bag.

this is pretty stupid, why would he hatch first? (you know, the only other refined opening)
if P forge expands, he can easily cannon the nat, then Z is forced to do weird hydra-nydus-nat@third stuff

gasless pool before hatch is perfectly fine as well

Naniwa is not MC. And beating is not outclassing.

Yeah, he had 0 army units in production when the sentries arrived at his 3rd. Really can't blame anything but Darkforce there.

well, it was metagaming by huk. usually, protoss tend to be defensive when they air ahrass the 3rd base - therefore, zergs blindly drone up and defend with queens/spores.

huk used that and pushed with air+ground.

That's metagaming by df. Relying on huk not being agressive without scouting.

huk dominated him at MLG (not even mentioning homestory, which was a while ago by starcraft terms)

Yeah, he scouted the stargate "oops, i need anti air", but forgot to make units.

To be fair, normally toss players build 4 phoenixes, build robotics and do nothing at all for the next..well...20 minutes

This stargate into mass-gates is awsome at keeping zergs "honest" with their drone-count, I will investigate that further in the near future. Seems really promising.

isnt it kinda all inish ? making stargate just for it to be scouted and than proceeding with gates?

Yes, all-in-ish in the sense that you need to do at least massive drone-damage to the third. But on the other hand, keep in mind that it's done of a nexus first / forge expo while continuing probe-production...so you definitely don't have to finish the game there.

People are going to have to get used to the fact that Protoss is a race based on timing attacks. Chronoboost literally lets us mold our attacks into a ton of different timings and if we want our timing attacks to be particularly devastating, it will have to be a little more 'all-in-ish' than some people would like.

I didn't say hatch first, pool first obviously. Hatching first against protoss gets messy really fucking quick. If toss forge expands, it pretty much renders speedlings completely worthless for the first 8ish minutes of the game.
