Stay positive, be happy and enjoy the event. Caster bashing and player bashing? Too much whining? Uh-oh!

Bottom line: whoever wins this tournament, its accolade is tainted and downgraded to the pedigree of local lan tourney, not as prestigious as it could be. Yes, this particular Assembly is about as lame as Homestory. shame on the organizers who planned this.

How can you blame the playerlist on organizers that the players who decided to show up is not as good as it could have been? And i do not think the winner will mind how prestigious is or isn't in some peoples opinion, 8k€ is still a lot of money, one of the highest prizepools is still one of the highest in Europe and NA.

Stop crying about people who aren't there, appreciate the players who ARE there. It's an excellent line-up spiced with Huk, Nada and Sen. It will be awesome.

I can't understand why people are complaining either. I mean, do you have 20 grand slam tournaments in tennis?

The huge events would even lose their "spice" if every tournament had like the 50 best players in it. It's the mixture of large and epic events and smaller and still interesting events that is present in each and every sport.
I for myself will enjoy the event and will be especially looking forward to the games of HuK.

haha! how can people say it's a bad tournament?

Do you always want to see the same players over and over again?

I rather have tournaments that have their own merits then seing tournaments being all similiar with the same faces...

This assembly looks very promissing and i will follow for sure!

Exactly how I feel

I don't mind if we see some of the best players players like we do now but have most of them at every event and you'll lose interest really fast.

It's stupid on many levels, because alot of europeans were absent from last MLG but people didn't complain about that... This is going to be more interesting because the pool is so varied.

Man, standards really are too high for some specs these days. I'd have thought "vastly better than me" would be a good enough qualification for these players.

Indeed! Some people are so picky. The line up is very good but obviously not the best possible. But fortunately tournaments without all of the top players can be entertaining as well!

I wonder if the people that are complaining were spoiled by their parents

I hope the OP is live updating the thread but I don't believe that.

Will be a nice tournament though!

Well if you look at some of the players not attending it's not wierd people are sad. White-ra, Ret and Goody are big names. But there is more than enough good players left (NADA!!! :D) so this should be awesome.
