Huk might very well still win. Though I will say this - the principle "when you're ahead, get more ahead" is true to some extent, but Huk didn't really "get more ahead." He walked his max army around without engaging while he continuously got pylons sniped by drops. If you're sitting on 5k minerals on however many bases Huk had, the only real way to get more ahead is to build up your infrastructure or upgrades. throw down gateways until you have 20-30 so when you do lose a big fight (like huk did), you can instantly remax. Granted, I don't have the replay, so I can't see exactly what Huk was doing, but it didn't look like he was massing gateways like he should given his resources and the point in the game.
