Congrats to the winner! Great tournament. And, of course, congrats to both Diamond and orb. And now I'm off to bed.

His casting style is kind of awkward. He's telling the players what they should have done and even calling them stupid at one point. Isn't he in diamond NA?

Isn't he in diamond NA? I completely disagree. I loved his casting style. Yeah he pointed out when a player made a poor move, but that's awesome. He clearly has very solid game intelligence and I actually learned a bit about terran/protoss openings from watching him which is awesome. There are good/bad things to do in certain situations and the caster pointed out what the player did wrong that made him lose. Not only does this make the game interesting because there is deep commentary, but as I said earlier, it helps newer players understand the game/state of the metagame. tl;dr player makes a bad move, caster points it out and explains why it's bad. That is cool.

I appreciate the enhanced color overall and accept it as a tool helping people who otherwise have trouble differentiating the colors, but I'm asking for a little adjustment if possible. Thanks for these great events anyway.

In some occasions it actually becomes difficult to see the unit compositions (eg: zealots/templars; or ghosts within MMM ball). With a little less enhanced colors it's easier to tell different units of the same army apart, otherwise they tend to become, say, red spots all look-alike. Especially on 240p it becomes difficult. That's true, however it also makes it tougher to differentiate the types of units of the same side; at least as it is now, which I hope could be adjusted a bit.Show nested quote + On July 21 2011 14:51 figq wrote: One request - could you avoid red color for protoss, or perhaps get just a little less extreme enhanced color version overall? LOL...Artosis is going to have heart attack if he hears that. Meh, sage had some cute interesting builds, but I don't really remember a memorable moment where he showed off some great reactionary decision making. It feels like his style could be deflected if played against a few more times, kind of like what happened in this series. Idk, I can't really remember the games all that well except the first gstl game and the last one against scfou where he did the voidray contain. But there's a huge difference between someone like sage, and someone like nestea who plays the metagame as perfect as can be. Oh, I agree. I'm not the biggest fan of Sage either. This is a guy who was named by Artosis last night during SOTG to be one of the top 5 players in the world (and top 5 most entertaining, which is understandable). I mean...I don't know how serious Artosis was when he made his list, but it was pretty hilarious. Twelve hours later, Bomber apparently replaced Puma as the top T in the world for him. ![]() Edit: That was a terrible decision to engage by Curious. Lol yeah, some of the artosis hype can really hurt some players and create a lot of antifans. I think he's been taking it too far lately, but that's what happens with teamleagues I guess. Whenever a player that Artosis hasn't seen yet (or hasn't seen much of) has a good showing, he automatically becomes top 10 in the world. Don't take his ratings too seriously. He's a good caster and he's knowledgeable but he's a fan girl at heart. Definitely agreed.
