;_; 0/4 in my Liquibet.
Polt may have lost 2-0, but the first game was encouraging. Hopefully he will be able to improve his weakest matchup now that he's dedicated full-time.
But seriously, at some point he should learn to make more than 55 workers.

He still came close to holding, and at more than one point the casters called it for him (although we should expect bias from Wolf, Sheth's teammate). This is not a good example.

Blink stalkers are good against roaches/banelings and even hydras, but get roflstomped by Morrow's style (pure lings with fast 2/2 upgrades and optional infestors) The problem is that if you don't go lings at first it's hard to reinforce with pure lings as you are usually larva starved at that point and can't make the critical amount of lings needed to surround the stalkers ball.

And again, this GSL's bracket should make the first very sick final. Even if I can see Nestea roflstomp any terran 4-0 in the finals sadly. What? NesTea is strong but "4-0 any terran?" I would be more surprised if he actually DOES beat top terrans, they are overalls more strongly represented in korea. NesTea is lucky the top ones knocked themselves out. This, both nestea and MC have a weakness to the top top terrans. I don't think that NesTea has a weakness to top terrans at all.... It may be his worst matchup (with 60% win I might add) but when you are as good as NesTea, that's barely even a weakness. imo, this is his tournament to lose.

Realistically at a top level, I think all races have many 'cheesy' options (not cheese, as the marine/raven/banshee allin isn't cheese). Don't make this a "omg terran have more" thing. They don't. Protoss have many all-in/'cheesy' options such as 2gate proxy, 4gate, DTs, 3gate-VR (probably the best analogue of the raven allin), etc. that have been used at a high level. Zerg have the Roach/Ling Allin/aggression off 1-2base, 6-10pool, or the fast lair 2 base hydra drop allin vs P, amongst other things, baneling busts of varying sorts...

This GSL indeed has the potential to be the most stacked we've had so far. I agree with what was said before that Nestea and MC will almost certainly reach Ro4, Bomber will also probably do it, and losira has a more than a decent chance. After that, I have no idea how Nestea vs MC will go, maybe the slightest of edges goes to Nestea. Bomber vs Losira will also be difficult to predict.
Hoping for Bomber to take it all, although he'll have to show significantly better TvZ.

It is a good example because Puzzle showed no sign of tech switch or expansion or anything like that (regardless of what sheth was doing). He knew that his blink micro would carry the day.

Let's look at the remaining terrans. Hmm, the best one seems to be Bomber. Do you remember the last time NesTea and Bomber played? It was so embarrassing I almost cried.
Layoff the exaggeration. Nestea did beat Bomber but overall, it was not like the 2 embarrassing Code A matches we had today.

There is no way in hell that Losira loses to Trickster. Honestly, I think people are underrating Byun, I feel that he might have the best chance of all the underdogs. The rest are very likely to be Nestea, MC, Losira.

I will call it now: HongUn vs Trickster in the finals! The PvP GSL!

I would say it's 50-50 if he gets to face MC/Bomber.All three are the best in their respective race. (I would say bomber's defeat was due to nerve and he didnt play up to his potential)

imo, this is NesTea's tournament to lose.
Agreed completely. We've seen NesTea lay down the best decision making in all of sc2. Even though a Terran will probably take out MC and make it to the finals (whoever comes out from Byun and Bomber, which is extremely difficult to call), and NesTea showed slightly less-than-optimal performance in his last round match, it was close positions Crevasse, and this is NesTea.
Bomber would be the slightly more difficult opponent, but no matter what a great GSL finals is abound.

He doesn't have a weakness to terrans per se.
His playstyle makes him weak to a certain type of terran style: methodical timing attacks.
