From what I've seen...he's as solid as imMVP but more aggressive and more layered/better transitions from varying stratagems. The only TvP i've seen him was Puma vs HongUn in the ICCUP Korean Weekly, but HongUn got no detection 2 games in a row and lost to 1 cloaked banshee in each, so that really doesnt say much

The last game Sen lost because MC's control was much better and his DT harass was brilliant. The game before that sen made like 12+ broodlords and no anti air. Sen probably would have beat any other protoss in those late game situations, but he's playing against MC, the best player in the world right now I agree with this post. Let's look at game 4 and 5 where Sen got more bases earlier but still lost. Game 4 - Even though Sen was on 6 bases, his units were not efficient at all. MC barely lost any of his ground army until the big engagements near the end of the game. This allowed him to save up a lot of money by not having to replenish zealots/stalkers/sentries. This is the main reason why he didn't need to expand to a 4th as quickly. Game 5 - Sen had his 5th and 6th hatcheries up on the right side, but they were fully mining for just a little bit before MC sent in his DTs to destroy them. Just because more bases go up does not mean a zerg is ahead - they need them to be online for some time for the income to really surge ahead.

I love Sen cos hes just semi-pro from Taiwan where virtually he can't not find any decent practice partner. He only relies on himself and laddering but still archive a high level of playing. Fnatic, send Sen to Korea, or some pro house in EU or NA. He will rape everyone!!!! Sen already practices on the KR server, it's why he is as good as he is. Without a progaming team that also does so however I don't see him getting much better. Huk wouldn't be as amazing right now without teammates like MC to practice with.

He should train 1 week with MC and another high-tiered korean terran. Then, his evolution will be complete ![]()

Practice on ladder is not enough and Sen is already on Fnatic but he has no one to practice in real life and hes not full time pro like Huk or Idra. Why don't you see him getting much better? Sen was one of the best foreigner Zerg in SC:BW. Sen needs to switch to full-pro and get to a practice house. Ladder is never enough!!!

Team liquid trained together there more before i think, now they seem to mix it up a lot more, and Huk is literaly sitting next to MC, so yes i believe if Sen would want to be a pro gamer full time he should be thinking about doing that, might be hard though to find a team willing to take him in, so many talent in Korea itself around aswell. Also is Sen now done with his Univercity ? And some said he might need to join the army aswell ?

Yeah, I am looking forward to his anouncement after he graduates. Sen is such a boss, getting a degree at the same time tearing apart in SC2. I am struggling with my degree and a place in low master on SC2 T_T

I just don't feel that Idra or Sen will be able to get better without being in korea, training with equal-level players full time. Sen is able to take a edge because he lives in Taiwan and can play KR ladder without huge lag.

He didn't even attempt it once this series. Because Sen was going ling/infester quite quickly and fast infesters own blink timings. MC wasn't familiar or comfortable with the style Sen played it seems hence he played reactionary.

And Idra WAS in Korea for 3 years and basically I don't see Idra getting any better cos hes maxed out after stay so many years in Korea while Sen on the other hand has never been a full time pro and got so much potential to be better if he can practice in any pro-house. As I say before, ladder is not enough, you need team-mate or top practice partners around you to really improve. Look at what Ogs-TL house in Korea did for Jinro(2 time GSL semi final) and Huk.

Yeah it's like they finally decided to cave in to the demands of the people complaining about long breaks. I actually missed the first two games of July vs PuMa because of this.
