I don't think there's any friction between the two but I certainly don't understand this 'keeping brands seperate' reasoning. There is absolutely nothing negative that will come out from the plott brothers casting together and it would certainly please a lot of fans. They're perfectly entitled to do whatever they want though so it is what it is.

when casters start to think of themselves as "brands" i think my conclusion is pretty ok. its much like pepsi and coke will never be seen together, unless its some sort of competition between the 2.

Being humble is a great skill to have, unfortunately he doesn't have one bit of it. They're playing a video game, not having a samurai battle. And MC displays confidence, not arrogance. He shows respect to a lot of players such as Huk and Naniwa.
The thing I like about MC is that every ceremony and show of arrogance he has is either before a match or if he wins. He is the opposite of Idra who everything he is known for is when he loses. Both are terrific players but I like MCs notoriety more so its easier to respect him.

umm, only thing, they are not in competition with each other. they have always supported each others' careers and i honestly think them casting together can only be a great thing.

...that analogy doesn't apply though. With Coke or Pepsi if you drink one or the other the other is losing business, however many people watch both Dailies and the GSL...it's not necessarily a competition and I don't think it is one. I'd love to see a Plott brothers cast, sucks that it won't happen.
