by the way guys THE CROWD ALSO NEEDS BREAKS ^^.

haha.

Haha, yea, the downtime between games is not enough, and they don't even get to watch the intros. That is also why they have players have meet and greets right after their games, so people can sit and wait for the real break.

A lot of the people in this thread. Oh dear lord, please show a little bit of respect? A little bit of restraint? A little bit of dignity?

It is alright to be disappointed. It is alright to not like something.

But what has been shown in this thread, more so than in any other thread that I have seen on TL (and perhaps this is just me not looking hard enough, who knows) is that this community has parts of it that is a huge, festering sore.

People like me, new to the site just swearing, starting flame wars, having nothing constructive nor positive to contribute.

It might be sad that NASL is struggling so much with production. It might be sad that Koreans are completely outclassing the opposition.

But it is truly sad to read the majority of comments in this thread.

I agree, but there is a reason this is happening. I have never seen a TL thread like this, and that in itself says something.

I feel really terrible for NASL right now. Their hearts and intentions were in the right place. With that said, I feel the same as 90% of the thread posts. Its been pretty damn bad thus far.

Please, every Nasl thread has been like this. People are just holding a grudge, most of the issues right now are minor and the majority of the whining is from europeans who are tired and grumpy.

minor like not even able to fix the sound for 6 hours? they started at 2pm est and there's still sound issues, which is pretty funny.

It's hilarious. How hard is it to even out the left and right channel? Someone lied in their application form :D

although the production hasn't been perfect, i think the games have been really fun to watch. that alone makes the event more exciting thus far than IPL or TSL.

Its perfectly normal and healthy. This thread is acting as a means of 1000's of people to vent their frustrations at their NASL experience. Whats the problem? You know what's worse than whiners? People who whine about whiners!

this is the first day of the first grand final
it will only keep getting better and better

its not easy organizing an event, maybe the next season they will be much much better.. check that.. next year they're going to better

This wait is the same as waiting for the pitcher and batter to get ready in a baseball game, and then just that 5 second of excitement. The whole process takes about 8 hours.

To be fair, it is the North American Starleague >_>

Not that I'm at all a fan of the number of delays either.

I would like to say that I stayed up until four in the morning to watch dreamhack, and stayed up the whole duration of the matches. I dont know if I could have done that if there were such long delays between each set. But none the less you have to be willing to make sacrifices to watch tournaments from different regions of the world

Moon is sort of an honorary foreigner. In WC3 he played for foreign teams for most of his career.

hah,., yeah,, they should give us moon ^_^

A lot of Koreans were on foreigner teams. The WC3 culture was more spreaded out.

i like how Moon competes in foreign events only and now more successful then lyn

Because Lyn doesn't have the Blademaster imbalance in SC2.

True. He should change to Protoss for DTs.

Ok, I went to bed and turned off the stream after the terrible production in games 1 + 2. Has it improved since then?

The production is not good, but its their first production so I'm giving them some room for failure.

The thing that is sucking the hardest atm tho is the fact that Koreans looks so far ahead of the foreigners. There are a lot of players that didnt stand a chance in NASL (and MLG etc) that should not even hold the title "pro gamer" , they basically got into an advantageous position in the start, and is sailing on it now. The gap is just way to huge.

oh my god. so... what counters 125 banelings?

or: spot them VERY early and just use a massive amount of air units.
OR: 200 supply thors.

3 sentries and 5 high templar with storm > 150 banes

sure, if the 125 banes herp derp into the sentries, letting FF surround them perfectly. but who would do that?
