sC only has himself to blame, picking MVP...so cocky. I don't really understand the thought process of these Koreans, so many weird group selections. It's okay to want to prove yourself, but if you're good enough you will meet these great players late in the tourney anyway. There's so much money on the line. It's their careers! I dunno, maybe I'm wrong but you'd think it'd be better to pick more tactically.

I'm sick of people calling the scene random or unstable, it is actually that there is just no dominant players, but still keep in mind that the top tier has been very stable, surprisingly (MKP, Nestea, MC, etc. all consistently posting amazing results). The other side of it is that the people that have been hyped up are just not as good as you thought they were relative to their opposition.

Its the format and the rapid speed at which SC2 is developing. A player can find a good style of play and dominate with it for an entire GSL because people have not find the proper way to deal with it yet. Especially because the speed of the GSL, seasons are short.

But, in the end the top players will stay on top and will show the better results. This is shown by our winners of the GSL Code S: mvp, MC & Nestea

No Ryung, gets Rain's spot from winning an untelevised play-off spot (consisting of the 8 Ro16 Code A losers).

Code A winner automatically qualifies

The other 7 Code A Top 8 go to Up/Down with 8 4th placed Code S players = 15 (3 groups of 5)

Top 2 of each group advance (2x3 = 6) leaving + Code A winner + MLG winner = 8.

To be fair, the only results you can really judge Empire.Happy on is the only offline tournament that we've seen him at. Being an online/ladder bonjwa isn't evidence of him being a top-level Terran. This is off-topic, anyway.

People should look at the format.

8 from code S go to up and down, 7 from code A go to up and down, 3 groups of 5.

Top 2 from each group go to Code S(2 more spots)
Winner of Code A goes to Code S(1 spot)
Winner of MLG goes to Code S(0 spots)

Ive seen the stc get steamrolled 4-1 by mkp a few days ago with almost every game under 10mins because he doesn't know what bunkers are. The 'best' terrans overall are still bomber and mvp. On ladder obviously sC is by far the best of anyone but thats not transferring into tournament success on big maps. Happy has a reputation from people who HAVENT seen him play because when he does and he opens 1/1/1 every game -because it works on ladder- then gets rolled people assume hes having an offday

Why the fuck does everything needs to boil down to a balance discussion everytime "the best x player in the world" looses? I mean come on people ! Just because someone is labelled the best DOES NOT mean that they automatically will win everything and destroy everyone.


And those who complain about Z being too strong... They've just figured shit out. Rewind 4-5 months ago and Z won effing nothing and were the ones always writing stuff like "OMG the photon cannon is so imba !" "Buah thors cant be killed, pf's cant be killed, nothing the terran makes can be killed"
