In comparison to top level yea. Unless that Happy is the IM player and not the mundane 1-build euro happy who farms masters players at 4am every night for points and floats 2k minerals every fight because he thinks hes still playing wc3? Also thestc just isn't that good but to be fair hes been away for a while so need to give him time

Incredible how fast SC2 metagame is changing...

Suddenly, hellion/tank early game is the new trend.

I'm sick of people calling the scene random or unstable, it is actually that there is just no dominant players, but still keep in mind that the top tier has been very stable, surprisingly (MKP, Nestea, MC, etc. all consistently posting amazing results). The other side of it is that the people that have been hyped up are just not as good as you thought they were relative to their opposition.

The players at the top have been stable in who has been at the top, not at their own results.

MC has two first round exits in a row, NesTea got knocked out first round March, MKP has gotten knocked out first round of every single regular season except January, Mvp got knocked down to Code A.... etc.


They are often knocked out by players who either win GSL or make top 4.

It just means that the best players are favored in sc2, but not expected to always win. It's not the same as brood war.

Even Flash loses like a quarter of his games. It's just the nature of the game.

Pretty much I guess? They're kinda outclassed by Code S players though, so I think of them as mediocre. /shrugs, semantics really.

The best players never always won - If you're having a bad day - you lose

If yout opponent is having a hot day - you lose.

Like in every other competition.
