Boxer is going to the NASL finals, which I believe are just 2 weeks before Anaheim.

Do you really think he will win MLG? Really?

code a qualifiers are harder then mlg, its worth a shot and even if he doesnt win.

in a way it's good BoxeR got knocked out.

I believe he has the skill to be up there in Code S. But watching him play it's clear he doesn't practice enough.

Not like BoxeR doesn't know he is a bit sloppy, he misses upgrades etc.

Ofc he knows but I feel he does much more with his team and not getting enough practice.

Now, he has to decide what the hell he should do and i hope he decided to be a player!

Slayers Jessica the team manager and his girlfriend in an interview says Boxer practices as much if not most out of all the Slayers players. Practice and live play are clearly two different things and at Boxer's age he can't perform as well as he should or wants to.

I don't even understand this age thing. People are acting like age 30 is age 60 and you develop arthritis and shit.

Nestea plays at an incredibly top level and he's just about as old as Boxer is. I think it depends on a player-by-player basis. Maybe Boxer had some injuries to his hands back in the BW days, I don't know, but SC2 is easy enough (WhiteRa can attest to this, hehe) that even Sjow and his ~130 apm can play...

If you read the Interview, Boxer has a big chip on his shoulder. Unlike White-ra or Nestea Boxer feels he carries a lot of burden to be very successful and accomplished what he did in BW over to SC2. Again its a difficult task, not only is he pushing his body to the limits but refusing adamantly to abandon his brood war style of play.

How did he beat theSTC? Isn't he dropping all the time?

theSTC probably helped Jinro out with the practice since he lost to this guy. That should be a big part of his preparation.

No, I was in europe the entire time - the only thing we had time for really was talking about how he played vs him, and the games were pretty different from the ones vs me.

Im happy I didnt have to play a game 3, the build I had prepared for that map, which was working great vs EU protoss players, didnt work AT ALL vs Hero/Inca/Vines T.t

I don't know if you understand the concept of how huge fan followings works, but when there are tons of sad, disappointed people in the topic due to how arguably the most iconic e-Sports figure has been knocked out (this isn't exactly fanboy talk, BoxeR's fame and fanbase can't be understated) , it's not exactly tactful to just go "Yay, asd won!" What I don't get is why you didn't keep it to yourself. Are you actually an asd fan? Typically, people don't just post "So happy that ___ won!" just because the winner was a better player. They do that when a player that they're a huge fan of wins. Thus, it seems like you're trolling because you're unnecessarily gloating with a rather weak argument for doing so.

Lol I liked nuclear's play so I was happy that he won. Am I not allowed to say that? Don't be ridiculous.

if you're talking about prime boxer, that was about 10 years ago and sc2 wasn't out then, only sc1.

we all know how great prime boxer was.

It's not like BoxeR is slumping or anything right now. I didn't say BoxeR in his prime either.

His warpgate was on cooldown and he couldnt lose position or he wouldnt even be on 1 mining base as his main was mined out and he had just started the nexus at his natural. So basically if he pulled back he was guaranteed to lose his gold.

He made the right choice, but jinro made a super smart choice with that drop to put him in an extremely akward position.

I dont know if it worked or no since I dont have maphack vision while playing, but I was trying to attack before dropping so he would warp units.

He might dislike the player tho? Is that such a terrible thing? I've had an hatred for july ever since he cheesed mvp out of his group in gsl march, so I was glad he lost to trickster, not necessarily because I like trickster. I also think july is a bad player that gets away with his unusual abusive style.

He might hate boxer thus be glad that asd won, doesn't make him a troll, just makes him someone with different tastes in players than you (and in this case, the majority)

wow

I think for some reason everyone expects everyone to love BoxeR. Sure most do, but it's not like even when he was Bonjwa status he had 100% of the fan base. No one ever has. Oov was actually hated by A LOT of people as a matter of fact. Same with Savior I guess.

Actually it worked perfectly. I was watching the drop come in, and right before you exited that smoke area the warp gates each gave a little animation indicating that they were being used. Grats to you!

Maybe that's part of the key to winning in international SC2, jetlag!

But, your poke at the Gold did use all of his cooldowns and he had *just* tossed up his natural, so he was really low on resources as well. You almost couldn't have timed that drop better.
