DongRaeGu can write book about that Why do people keep saying it's so difficult. Sure it's only 13-16 spots, but most of the top 50 players in Korea are already in it who don't attend the qualifiers, all of Code S, Top 16 of Code A, essentially all the winners. How is it 'harder' than any other offline prelimanary? Except in this, all the best players besides assorted few like DRG, Bomber (before), StC, don't play in it. People say it's difficult or brutal because Bomber, StC, DRG all have difficult times in them. That's just because they as players are not good at offline prelims maybe lol? In BW or in the Opens imagine if you had a Jaedong or NesTea or Mvp or Bisu in your part of the prelims? That won't happen in these prelims because the only huge names get knocked by other people lol, or don't participate. After MMA got knocked out a bunch of people said Code A is too harsh. People always do this when their favorites get knocked out. a lot of players have said that the qualifiers are harder than getting into code S...
To get into code A you essentially have to beat 5 players in a row with most of them being pro gamers on teams to begin with. It's obvious there's lots of undiscovered talent running around, and many of the names at the top of the korean ladder haven't even debuted in GSL yet. This isn't some MLG qualifier where you have amateur diamond players running around, just about all of them are gonna be GM in korea and the best from korea because it's the single most important tournament to them. They aren't the toughest opponents in the world, but you may end up running into one like DRG if you're unlucky. The sheer fact that you have to run through 5 opponents in one sitting is also enough.

If BoxeR goes to MLG, dear lord I am selling everything to get to that event. Whether it's Anaheim, Dallas or whatever the last one was (Providence?), I am going.

if you're talking about prime boxer, that was about 10 years ago and sc2 wasn't out then, only sc1.
we all know how great prime boxer was.

Hes not actually saying he threw those games, and i agree with him on the fact that boxer just didnt know when to push he was being indecisve and it was extremely painful to watch.

Poor Boxer though. Check out my no. of bans to know whether I am serious
I'm too lazy, so I will assume you have been banned many times since you thought he was talking about Jinro's team... when really he was just saying Jinro in his best state is better than Boxer, not that he is actually on the team Prime...

everyone just tweet at "mlglee" and ask him to bring boxer to mlg... its the only way we can see boxer back in the gsl..(or atleast a higher chance compared to code a qualifiers)

I don't know if you understand the concept of how huge fan followings works, but when there are tons of sad, disappointed people in the topic due to how arguably the most iconic e-Sports figure has been knocked out (this isn't exactly fanboy talk, BoxeR's fame and fanbase can't be understated) , it's not exactly tactful to just go "Yay, asd won!" What I don't get is why you didn't keep it to yourself. Are you actually an asd fan? Typically, people don't just post "So happy that ___ won!" just because the winner was a better player. They do that when a player that they're a huge fan of wins. Thus, it seems like you're trolling because you're unnecessarily gloating with a rather weak argument for doing so.

Don't forget that the first 2 GSL's with 16 drop 16 join code A format were won by players that had only just qualified. So yes, it is very difficult to get into code A. The fact that bomber losira won code A in their first season and imediatly qualified to code S is kind of proof, and if DRG had qualified this season I'm sure most people would have him as the favorite to win it.
