So good. as much as i love him... as a host he is second to James 2gd Harding I've followed Quake 3 for years.. the first time I saw James 2gd I was like wow.. after a few more casts - hmm good but theres something few more - uuhhh now - I can't watch or listen to the guy but over one year on I still love day9
I'm tired of Day9's commentary. he's analysis is awesome, but he was continually giving a very biased commentary in favor of Huk, and I wasn't even really bothered who won, but the shouting and so on got exceptionally annoying.
And throughout the tournament, the way he casts and talks on stream, geez it makes me feel really edgy, almost like whenever I'm listening to the radio and it seems the person talking isn't breathing.

Obviously his play is good enough to place second in a major tournament, and he was simply God Like in WC3, which makes him well above average in two competitive games, when most people aren't even decent at one.
Well he's not top-tier so what's your point? Moon, Squirtle, and Ace all do well at foreign tournaments and do close to nothing in Korean tournaments. It gives you a sense of how high they are in the Korean hierarchy.

Would've been more impressive if it was vs Bomber but I dont know how Huk would have fared against him. In case you didn't notice, Huk was playing against a guy who beat Bomber. And what does that mean exactly?I can't see Huk beating Bomber's TVP, besides this finals didn't really have straight up games, it was a cheesefest so I can't quite say that Huk is the better player overall. Most people would have said they couldn't see Moon beating Bomber before he did.
At least we can put to rest the idea that Koreans are genetically superior to other races at Starcraft, although the practice regime is clearly a huge advantage.

Swedes still use the english words for abilities and stuff, else it would sound sooooooo stupid, dunno why he didn't say forcefield or whatever.

Am i the only one who is fucked up by Day9s caster style?, whispering huks moves, warning the crowd not to applaud and then screaming out Moons 6 pool like its the end of the world?, in my oppinion thats not very serious and unrespectfull towards moon.

Watching that Swedish stuff reminded me a lot of when i'd watch South African rugby shows. They'd just randomly switch from English to Afrikaans and i'd be like WOAH LOL! Always takes me by surprise.

Yea BW LR threads were so informative. SC2 people come up with all kinds of crap lol. Pretty interesting though
