You mean the MC who lives in the same house and sits on the computer next to Huk. The MC who is probably the Korean Huk is most friendly with? The MC who is engaged in a brotoss bromance with Huk? So I missed the entire finals because they apparently lasted less than 10 minutes. That's disappointing, because the only reason I would watch a ZvP where one player cheeses is to get excited about a foreigner winning, and I probably won't get that same excitement when i re-watch them. Well congratulations to Huk. Its nice that his hard work in Korea is finally starting to pay off. (I'll ignore the fact that he could probably hold a 6-pool before he left). I know people are going to bitch and moan about his "easy path", and they're right he did have a fairly easy group, but he beat Socke, who is a strong protoss, in his weakest match up. July, who had just managed to knock Sen out in a match up he was weakest at. And Moon, who beat Bomber with the aggressive, and some would say cheesy, style. (If Moon 6 pooled both games I might discount the game against him, even though you have to remember that Moon probably wouldn't take risks like that if he thought he could beat Huk straight up.) By winning the tournament he has at least beaten somebody, who has beaten somebody, who has beaten xxyxyxyx person "who is better than Huk and should have been in the finals".

And what does that mean exactly?I can't see Huk beating Bomber's TVP, besides this finals didn't really have straight up games, it was a cheesefest so I can't quite say that Huk is the better player overall.

This has nothing to do with his race, and the argument has never been that. It's always been foreigners vs Koreans in terms of work-ethic, culture of e-sports, and various other non racial things. Anyone who thinks it's simply because they're of Korean decent that they have better skills is just ignorant and uniformed. Yeah, most people say that Koreans OWN White Dudes because of their practice regimes, the amount of effort they put in and the amount of time they spend playing Starcraft 2 weekly. If anyone says that White Dudes cannot match Koreans with that kind of regimes, then they are probably shortsighted and racial to an extent. With Starcraft; BW, the foreigner circle was not as well formed as it is with SC2. I cannot see Koreans having a huge advantage over foreigners in SC2 because of the amount of Foreigner pro gaming houses getting formed, the amount of foreign teams and all the works. Jinro first and now Huk have both shown that putting the same amount of effort will reap huge rewards. I can only see that tilting to parity in the future with more foreigners catching up with Korean practice regimes.

Really professional looking coverage, Sweden really love their e-sports. ![]() Its only online, SVT are 2 TV channels owned by the government and is probably the biggest TV channel in Sweden so its really cool, they had this @ Winter aswell though
