Sadly it seems I have to put this up yet again. Any of the following types of posts will be met with immediate bans:
Imbalance whine/Player bashing/Caster bashing/Stream complaining/Off topic arguing.
Stick to the games and enjoy the event and its free services and coverage. |

DH Invitational cheers were earshattering at the event yet it was very low on stream. I'm guessing it's like that this time to. I am surprised we could hear anything with Day9 shouting into the PA system.

from svt: you went all in on the last map, how did you reason?
moon: didn't believe huk would be prepared [missed the last part]

also moon should've aimed the forge in game 5 (not sure if that would've made a difference). forge would've gone down faster for sure

I'd have loved it if 2 out of 3 huk's win didn't just happen by pure luck and not actual skill.

thanks so mucH! wow would never have seen without ya

This. It's all about where the microphones are placed. I remember reading "criticism" about how we, the audience, were not laughing at 2GDs humor but he was getting a great response from us!

WOOO YAY HUK ..
now let the bitter ones stay in the thread and continue the never ending argument of apples vs oranges
take it away boys..

National pride is silly but even though I have American citizenship if anyone was chanting USA when I won something instead of Canada i'd be pissed.

Awesome Tournament, With a very intense finals!! Gratz huk and Congratz Teamliquid amazing finish.

So happy for HuK, always a big fan of him. Knew he eventually would overcome his stage problems and shine like he does everyday on his stream Just hope that it boosts his confidence to next GSL. Congratz HuK and TL! HuK hwaiting!

I find day9 annoying after 1 hour, 2gd is way easier to listen to for me

A beats B, B beats C
A doesn't beat C
That's not how Starcraft works.
The outcomes of this tourney would have been drastically different with different bracket draws by day/apollo. (like if Huk had MC -> bomber)
SC2 has not reached a point yet where good players win consistently.

Doesn't mean Huk could beat Bomber. Brackets always play a large role in tournaments, and usually explains why GSL finals are so bad. In this case, the Koreans knocked each other out for the most part, but Huk beating July is pretty impressive in my book.

game 4 was just painful to watch, not because they played badly (they played to what they knew). oh well, ggs from both moon and huk.
moon had the hardest route and made it to the finals, beating players like naniwa white-ra and bomber (AMAZING) and almost getting first place.
HuK had the blind counter - forge first. He would have put up a cannon either way, so the 6pool was doomed to fail from the start.
